  1. Malah does it again. Yet another Quick mod that slices away an irritating part of the game. Hopping between scenes, or to settings, is a nifty time saver. Tip of my hat to you, dude.
  2. Tried that, but it didn't work. Even tried copying the values from the Voyager craft file, where it works exactly as I wanted, but Tardis volumes stay unaffected by thrust level. Assuming I'm doing it incorrectly, somewhow.
  3. I can't think of an elegant way to do it, and they are mostly way too big anyway. That said, with a bit of practise, you can zip between the planets pretty much by targeting at them and flying straight at them. Orbiting can be tricky, but I've had fun with it. One request though, maybe it can be done by editing, would be for the TARDIS sound effects to be mapped to the thruster. As it is, the noise gets on the nerves, running even when the engines aren't running. Anyone know how to fix it? (Apart from turning the engine off through the right click menu)
  4. Those are really beautiful textures. Up there with the Chaka Monkey pack. Definitely going to download this one.
  5. In response to people who think female Kerbals are gimmicky, or just an aesthetic thing. First thing my daughter said when she saw me play KSP, was "Are there girl Kerbals?" - she's so used to games trying to exclude her because shes a girl. I just told her they were going be added, and now she wants to start a game of her own, for the first time. Stuff like this matters. Science and KSP should be be for anyone. Girl Kerbals are going to kick ass.
  6. Can you get QuickMute up on CKAN? (Unless I'm being dumb, I can't see it) Just makes it easier to grab when I reinstall mods. And thanks again for making it. I use it a lot.
  7. Enjoy the break Yanfret, This mod is a thing of beauty. Hope you return refreshed and with more wonderful works for us to enjoy.
  8. THANK YOU! This little plugin is what I've been looking for ever since I started playing KSP. Such a simple little thing, but so handy.
  9. Sorry this hasn't panned quite the way intended, Positr0n, but really respect the way you've taken the criticisms/feedback. Hope we see you on the forums plenty more. There are some great things being created here, and I share your enthusiasm for what the community has added to to KSP.
  10. I've got most of these installed. They come in handier more often than I thought. Pleasingly nifty. Can we do requests? A Quick Mute, please, that silences KSP, without affecting your other applications would be very much appreciated.
  11. Tried adding the plugin, via CKAN itself, as above. But it doesn't then list the plugin as active once you've done that, even after a restart. In my case, I suspect it's the fact I'm running it through Mono to get CKAN to run on a Mac. I get a Mono message to say the path to the plugin is invalid, even though I can see it in Finder. Maybe PC users having more luck?
  12. Love this mod. I dare say people have already thrown these suggestions at you, but my wish list would the ability to build bases on moons, other planets too. (Or is that already possible?) The other request - my kids' suggestion, is a destructible firing range. Somewhere to test all those wonderful BD Armory toys... --Update -- You CAN build moonbases with it. Oh. Wonderful. Need more lunar-themed buildings in Kerbinside now...
  13. Would be great if this was on CKAN too. Can see it becoming a staple mod for many of us. Awesome work!
  14. Launch Terminal (you can do it from the search, if you don't know) and after it loads, showing your username, type mono [navigation path] can.exe Or, and tis is easier, type mono, leave a space, and just drag the can.exe into the Terminal window. Hit enter, then it should launch.
  15. Just downloaded this. Am AGOG at the quality. Even on half-res everything looks utterly gorgeous. THE best mod of it's kind, IMHO. A tip of the hat to everyone involved...
  16. Took me a while to get my head around getting this to run on a Mac. But with Mono, you can run it from terminal. The GUI is a work in progress, obviously, but this is a FANTASTIC utility. Only downside, is it makes it too tempting to grab stuff that you probably haven't the memory to use. This modding community is why KSP is my favourite game ever. And this is REALLY appreciated. Awesome work, guys.
  17. Always great to see updates to this. I'll give it the new version a whirl.
  18. Thanks for the reply, Devo. Still really having a blast with this. One thing, though, how do you get Kerbals back in? I landed on Moho, got out, couldn't get back in. Opened doors and eventually got in, but on take off, I popped out the capsule. Back on Kerbal, I can't figure out how to board the craft there either. Can get out. But back in is stumping me. (I'm probably being an idiot)
  19. Another day with this mod. It is a ton of fun. You can use it as a planet hopper. Be intrigued to see what else folk come up with with it. Thanks Devo, for all the work. Erm, is the film worth watching?
  20. Love this mod! However, when loading the Drone craft file, it says the Gau 19 is a locked part. Have unlocked the full tech tree, can't see it among the parts. Any ideas?
  21. Been looking for something like this, but echo the previous comments that a screen grab or two really helps when you're trying to pick a mod to install. But this is a good idea. Hope it continues to develop, and good luck with it!
  22. Yeah, I've been getting a spate of these too. Equally in the dark as to the cause though. Typically crashes when changing screens in game, e.g. going into VAB from main screen. I find deleting the Saved Application State helps, but it's only a temporary fix, typically. (Look for the folder in your library, and delete the squad file. It gets replaced when game relaunches.)
  23. The latest update has fixed the problem I reported earlier. Thanks for your work on this. Now to go play with them...
  24. Totally get this. Was searching for a site exactly like this when I got Karbonite mod. Just to better help me see how the new parts interacted. And sometimes it's great to just .... around in something you haven't spent hours on, like crashing another dude's car, and they don't mind. - - - Updated - - - Totally get this.
