  1. I've returned to the Rusty Duna Space Program, now with added quantum fluctuations!
  2. I've included this mod in my Rusty Duna Space Program:
  3. Looking forward to it. I assume it's for Orbital Utility Vehicle? I think I might add that to my Rusty Duna Space Program install. I think it will fit in nicely.
  4. https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/wiki/Adding-a-mod-to-the-CKAN has the details. Basically, if you don't add any install instructions, it will attempt to install a folder in the base level of the zip file with the same name as the mod identifier into GameData. So, just MyMod. But if you have something else, you can use an "install" stanza with a collection of directives inside it, to tell CKAN exactly which files and folders need to be installed. There are some features for install directives that mean you need to change the "spec_version", but those are all described in that web page.
  5. Just to be clear, you really like Spacedock, so you want the Spacedock team to divide their concentration from making Spacedock an excellent place for mod distribution and storage to expend it on duplicating the effort put in by the CKAN dev team and the AVC mod author? Perhaps you think both of those software development exercises are trivial, easily knocked off in an afternoon?
  6. Sounds like your install stanzas are off. Can you pastebin your .netkan file (or submit a PR) so I can have a look?
  7. https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/NetKAN/pull/3457 should sort that out, I believe. Any others that need looking at?
  8. If you're talking about WW2Warships, part of the problem may be that you you went from version 0.41.1 to 0.5, and 0.5 is a smaller number than 41, so any CKAN users are still seeing 0.41.1 as the latest version. I can fix that for you now.
  9. Great! In that case, if you could make your next release a higher version number than 1.2 (So, not 1.1.2 or 1.1.3), your CKAN users will have a smooth upgrade path.
  10. I've been getting some truly gorgeous imagery combining a few other mods with Duna Space Program - I present: Rusty Duna Space Program
  11. I can't see any major problem in adding a "Filter by description" box similar to the "Filter by mod name" and "Filter by author name" ones, and it sounds like an excellent idea! I've raised an issue for it.
  12. Pretty much. :-) You've added your FF Ribbon packs to Spacedock, then? Let's see. This ought to handle it, no?
  13. Is this a continuation/fork of Porkjet's Stock Fuel Switch, or is it built from scratch?
  14. The latest version uploaded to Github and Spacedock is 1.1.1, but on Kerbalstuff there was a 1.2 release which seems to have been a more recently put together zip file than the 1.1.1 release. CKAN has a mirror of the 1.2 release here. @gkorgood, I can force CKAN users to see the 1.1.1 release as the most recent if that is the best idea, or leave them with the 1.2 release until you post a higher version to Spacedock. Whichever you prefer.
  15. That's a good question. I'm wondering what you have set up that allows you to just run ckan.exe without putting "mono " before it. Could you be running the CLI in WINE or emu or some such? You shouldn't have any "z:" showing up if things are working normally.
  16. To get around the hidden directory thing, you could make a directory /home/me/KSP and symlink your "Kerbal Space Program" and "Kerbal Space Program Modded" directories into it.
  17. Probably not, given that Real Space System and Realism Overhaul aren't on Spacedock.
  18. Ok, I've raised an issue for discussion about the folder truncation on Github. Feel free to add to the discussion there.
  19. For mods that have disappeared forever, we "freeze" the files by changing the extension from ".netkan" to something else (eg ".kerbalstuff" for mods lost that way), so that we maintain the history of names in order to not have duplicated keys. We are maintaining mirrors for old versions of mods (where licencing allows), so that people who want to go back and experience an old version of KSP can still add at least some mods to it, but that's related to the .ckan files, not the .netkans. As for the difficulty of seeing entries, my understanding is that it is only folders that get left off the list, not files, so by knowing the folder name, you can always type in the path to a folder. Also, by making a local fork, it's very easy to see all the files using a local file manager.
  20. With the difference that "recommends" mods appear as selected, so the user has to opt-out, while "suggests" mods are unselected, so the user has to opt-in. The CKAN Wiki has full details.
  21. I hope that their intentions are pure, to get mods that have disappeared available again, but yes, it is annoying. On the other hand, some mod authors have left the community, and the only way to get their mods back up is for someone else to take them over where that is possible. Some people are just a little too impatient.
  22. Thought I'd combine these parts with a few other mods for my Rusty Duna Space Program:
  23. Hi, sorry, I wasn't clear. It's the zip file from Spacedock that I'm saying is weird. All the files seem to be in the same places as the Dropbox zip, and have the same modified dates, but the folders have a modified date of a couple of days ago.
