  1. The multi re-entry vehicle that was launched recently in my 1.2 career game got some use today. First paying customer Then a 2nd. Separating the return vehicle. Two happy customers.
  2. Pushing along through my 1.2 career game. Sent Valentina to Minmus to pick up some science for desperately needed upgrades (the transfer stage had quite a bit of fuel remaining in it on arrival, so used it for the landing too). Then, suitably equipped, a lab was sent out to Minmus orbit to generate some tasty science treats. A snap on route to Minmus.
  3. Some more pics from my 1.2 career game. Valentina took a lander down to get some soil samples for a contract, only to find that it behaved like a drunk on a dance floor when it encountered a fairly shallow slope on touching down, hanging at seemingly impossible angles before swinging back the other way. Fortunately it eventually righted itself enabling her to get back into orbit for a rendezvous with the re-entry vehicle. Which took her (and the lander... just managed to make a touchdown with it still attached) back to a safe landing on Kerbin.
  4. Some more pics from the early stages of my 1.2 career game. Throwing capsule across the globe for a quick science grab A paying customer heading up to orbit Another quietly impressed by the trip to Mun. Greatly impressed by the view when he gets there arrival though.
  5. The small print is just some humorous stuff about ramming ships together... in theory this contract doesn't even require the vessels to be new ones made for the contract.
  6. Not quite certain what you mean by " ... at least one vessels to be launched after the contract was completed" as the contract can only be completed once both vehicles have been launched to Mun. I think what you're getting at is that both vessels might have to be launched after the contract was accepted, which they were, just using the same launcher to get to the mun, then one was un-docked, then re-docked. It's possible that the unstated requirement of the contract is that both vessels have to originate from separate launches, but if so, that's something that should be stated in the contract requirements. It's not a big loss as I still need my separate lander/return vehicle configuration to complete the mission (including a a contract to grab some surface samples) I was just hoping to net four contracts in one mission, but three will do
  7. In career mode back at the KSC, complaining that someone "took his ride".
  8. I'm playing through the career mode in 1.2 and recently sent a multi part vehicle (lander, return vehicle plus two satellites) to the mun to satisfy four contracts in one mission. One of the contracts is to "Dock two vessels on or around the Mun". To meet the requirements of this I detached my return vehicle that I'm going to leave in orbit from the lander, then re-docked with the lander. As I understand the contract I should have met its requirements of two vessels having been docked in the correct location, but the game failed to recognise this. Possibly the game is expecting the two vessels to be launched from Kerbin separately, but that seems a bit strange given that one of the most common uses of docking is after sending landers to planet surfaces. I'd be curious to know if anyone else has come across this behaviour of the game.
  9. A few pics from the early stages of my career game in 1.2
  10. I switched to a different browser as a quick way to check this and the dropbox page came up fine, so I have the download now. Thanks Foozle.
  11. Is that location still valid. I just get an empty page when I click on the link.
  12. Is anyone else seeing what appears to be the sea (I can see the wave motion pushing across them when the cubemap updates) occupying rectangular sections of the visor render. It's in the upper center, far left and right as well as top right of the visor in this image. At first I thought that this might be a conflict with Stock Visual Enhancements, but after pulling that from my Gamedata folder I still these sections of the sea in the visor. I'm using the 2.5.0 version of Texture Replacer.
  13. Here's my reworked version of your screenshot DMSP. Hope you like it.
  14. That shot in particular makes me want to make some kind of "Space 1999" type of wallpaper image... but that means making a Kerbal style eagle... and then writing some KSP fan fiction around that idea. Oh no, the madness never ends. Additionally here's my bit of Photoshoppin' of a screenshot supplied by Pine.
  15. Here's my version of your screenshot Pine.
  16. Is he hiding from all the "devs are leaving/the sky is falling" threads
  17. Ok... I'll add it to the list
  18. An image I made based on a screenshot by legoclone09 for my wallpapers thread
  19. Here's an altered version of your image legoclone09. Plus a version with some lens flare. Hope you like them.
  20. According to the Wiki the highest point is near the south pole (152.33° W and 82.52° S) at 7061m.
  21. Not as big and impressive as many stations in the thread, but here is KOSTAR, which I assembled in Mun orbit for the Grand Orbital Space Station Challenge. Docking the last of the arm sections Taking an EVA tour Taking one of the Mun mini landers for a test run View from afar View of where it came from I also made a sort of documentary style video about it (well the launch of the first couple of components anyway).
  22. Just a thought, but how about just a dino head in a 1950's "gold fish bowl" type space helmet.
  23. Ok, but I'll be working on legoclone09's first.
  24. Here's my version of your screenshot. It was a bit tricky in that the station is quite small in the frame and the images resolution is a bit low, but that also meant that I had a bit less to do, so it all balanced out. legoclose09's image will take a bit longer as there's more to work with, i.e. more content that I'll be making changes to rather than replacing, like Kerbin in your image.
