What does erased by other settings mean? The default settings? Are all the config points erased? Also, you could just set the settings file to read-only and that should solve it. It wasn't exactly the default settings, just the 2 first default config points and the rest of my settings erased. I've tried to set the settings file to read-only but it make the atmosphere in all the solar system when you are on your ship, not on ksc. Try, you will see! But now, I don't know why I can't reproduce this issue, so much the better! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello Scatterer community! I've got a little problem with my setting file (config/Settings.txt), when i leave the game normaly (by the menu) the setting file is erase by other settings. I've got two ways for this, either I make a back up, or I leave the game by Alt+F4. Does anyone else have this problem?

There is a litle problem with reflective visors, when there is the planet and the visors in the same field of vision, in the visors we can see several planets. For sun, I've made a smaller sunflare texture and it working great! I don't know why I persisted with MIE_G, thanks to get me out of this bad idea!

Postprocessing is not off but light, if you compare this pics with the same pics where postprocessing is off there is a real difference. If I set more postprocessing the effect is too great at evening and morning. For Mun, the problem is a black moon and it's too visible but it's a ksp problem. The other problem with Mun is the sun is too big in the sky, even by set MIE_G to 0.1 . At any rate, my game was never more beautiful thank you for your mod!!

I understand what you talking, but I think it's more a comunication question and so if all bugs are in a proper list as is now the case in your first post of your thread, you'll be less bothered by that. Maybe small pics to illustrate the bugs in question could be beneficial. It still requires additional time but maybe it will save it. In this way, the community could help you to test your releases. Personally, if I can help you I will be delighted!

The Hyomoto response is so relevant that not even know of whereof he speaks. Hyomoto, you use the politest tone, yet as a reader I feel insulted. You think maybe relieve the thread creator by answering his place, if that's the case I think it is more than capable of doing himself. By the way if blackrack really bothered by repeated questions, it's sufficient to consider it and modify the 1st post. I think it is a good idea, until we get better. Avera9eJoe had already asked a similar question in this post and blackrack said he was not against but nothing more.

I see what you say when you say Scatterer and EVE are two different things and they could be work together. For now, I don't try some solution for this because I'm in D3D11 for RAM issues, and like you know, Scatterer is not ready for D3D11. But it doesn't mean that I will don't try... I need a solution for my RAM issues (with ATM...) and if I find it, I will search for some good settings to play with Scatterer and EVE. Having spent much time in EVE settings (btw thanks for yours and your textures in RC...) and now I exactly know EVE 7-4 can do. And when I see the time it took me, I understand very well that making a mod like this does not happen overnight. I support blackrack for this mod and I hope he will make THE visual mod!

Perhaps because EVE is the benchmark for visual effects. And for the moment, Scatterer has still not dethroned. Scatterer is to do some screenshot but we can not play with it, there is too unacceptable defects. And I'm not talking about opengl and d3d11 ... EVE has an onion effect but from orbit Scatterer has a soup effect. So if you have both, you get an onion soup!

Hello! This mod is great!! I play with this settings: (For the pink textures, I was change no-PQS files in the ReplacementShaders folder) _ D3DX11 _ KSP settings: Video: Res: 1650x1050 Fullscreen = True Anti-Aliasing = x8 V Sync = Adaptative (Nvidia) Pixel Light Count = 8 Shadows Cascades = 4 Scenery: Terrain Detail = High Scatter Density = 100% Rendering: Render Quality Level = Fantastic Texture Quality = Full Res with this visual mods: _ EVE with RC settings and textures _ Texture Replacer with RC settings and textures _ Planet Shine _ Distant Object _ And sometime, Scatterer!! and some other mods... (MechJeb, SoundtrackEditor, Chatterer, LanguagePatches) My settings for Scatterer: forceOFFaniso = False extinctionCoeff = 10 atmosphereGlobalScale = 0.999 (for 1, I got a bug with ocean and grass) postProcessingAlpha = 0.5 postProcessingScale = 1 postProcessDepth = 0.065 postProcessExposure = 0.18 m_HDRExposure = 0.2 alphaCutoff = 0.01 alphaGlobal = 0.9 Why "sometime" for Scatterer? For some issues when I leave atmosphere: Between 20-200km: Between 200-450km: Up 500km: For this time, as proposed by Avera9eJoe, with a toggle mod option at altitude of 20-30km, "sometime" could be "everytime". But, it would be nice if there is a better solution.
