  1. The smaller the better, IMO. I enjoy the smaller pieces. However, I refuse to use the gamey jet engines, so don't expect me to break any records. This 39-ton rocket delivers a ~3.5t payload to LKO, not the greatest payload fraction of course, but that payload has nearly 4,000m/s d/v to play with, accomplishing the same as a much heavier LV-N equipped craft. It's also a lander, so a comparable LV-N design would be roughly triple the weight.
  2. Something like this needs to be implemented as stock alongside the Center of Mass/Lift/Thrust visuals.
  3. You'd probably need to create some kind of plugin to work between the two.
  4. I should re-read OFS/AEB, I read it like right after I found KSP, been a while.
  5. The KSP store allows for easier maintenance of multiple versions, so I won't have my 19.1 saves wiped out automatically with the release of .20 like I would if I bought it on Steam. On the other hand, KSP Store updates generally take several days to be fully accessible while Steam has the server capacity.
  6. Just my backflipping rocket artillery And a telescope sequence
  7. All of them are 0.13 or previous.
  8. It would be really simple to make your own intake adapter for now, though it certainly wouldn't look as pretty; attach the engine adapter imversely and put intakes on those four spots. edit after hours of playtesting: I really want to use and love this pack, but everything's just too goddamned heavy – especially ****ing adapters – I can't accomplish anything. It also still lacks a lot of useful adapters.
  9. I don't think that's possible at all, at least not with a single nozzle.
  10. Even for spaceplanes I don't see the point of using an aerospike over the LV-909. Since it weighs so much less, it doesn't upset the balancing act that is spaceplane building and operation, and 175 thrust isn't really needed in my experience.
  11. A lot of trial and error. I remember making a VTOL plane with RCS thrusters back in 0.13, didn't have mirror symmetry or center of mass indicators to work with then! I strongly recommend RCS to give you control, only use the engines to counteract gravity.
  12. From my own experience with balloons on Kerbin, no, it stays active (as long as you're within 2.5km)
  13. I have several aircraft that wobble uncontrollably, shaking the entire screen several times per second. My plane stays completely intact, but it's pretty godawful to watch. This only happens when atmo density > 1.0 AND speed > 125m/s. I'm thinking it's got to be some kind of bug, and as far as I can tell, it is repeatable. I'll upload a video soonâ„¢. Also, on crafts that use clipping parts in the editor, they have an uncontrollable roll in-flight much like planes did before 15.0 and official spaceplanes. Without any input from me whatsoever, not even trim, the control surfaces will activate and ---- my plane. This does not occur with the stock game and the same part-clipping craft. This may actually be a feature, just thought I'd let you know.
  14. Can you elaborate on this? The TVV (True Velocity Vector) and the vertical speed gauge seem adequate to me. Your feature seems quite advanced and belonging more in a flight simulator.
  15. Before speculating, you can actually look this stuff up, you know.
  16. You can thank the big studios (EA in particular) for ruining the phrase.
  17. Oh, forgot one. A hilarious attempt to get my war airship airborne.
  18. No explanation Shockwave (alternate title: Dammit, Jeb!)
