  1. Guys, if you want to spread the word about CKAN please upvote our latest reddit post.
  2. AFBW 1.3 doesn't work in 0.90, update incoming sooner rather than later
  3. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this awesome release, especially to (in no particular order) Ippo, RichardLake, hakan, mgsdk, tips48, Forty-Bot and pjf! The timing is just perfect following KSP's spectacular 0.90 release yesterday. In the same spirit the CKAN team have just made a huge step forward towards simple, practical and awesome mod management for all. I hope you enjoy what we've made, we're all very proud of the amount of new features and fixes in CKAN 1.3. Cheers and happy christmas rocketing!
  4. Hey, guys. Just wanted to notify you that I have patched AFBW for 0.90 and am waiting for Blizzy to patch the Toolbar so I can release Sure!
  5. Hey, the bot updates everything once an hour. The increased downloads of older versions you're seeing are actually requests from our bots that got wrongly counted as downloads (oops). Anyway, a fix has been applied to KerbalStuff so this shouldn't happen anymore.
  6. Oh my, I fear this is way outside the scope of this mod. I am aware that the name is a bit awkward, I named it after KSP's Vessel.OnFlyByWire callback function, without really knowing what the term means at the time I can only promise that if anyone makes such a mod I will work with them to integrate it with AFBW. EDIT: I think FAR's Flight Assistance settings do some of what you want and they already work very nicely with AFBW
  7. From the main post - "The CKAN is a mod management solution for Windows, Mac and Linux that targets the .NET/Mono 4.0 framework."
  8. Hey, it seems your joystick is not calibrated. Go to 'Configuration -> 'Calibrate'
  9. Hey, I'm one of the CKAN developers, we're always in need of more hardware I would be happy to talk more about this, you can find us at #ckan on irc.esper.net or message me here.
  10. Hey, the ksp-advanced-flybywire and 000_Toolbar folders go in GameData, everything else goes in KSP's root (where KSP.exe is)
  11. Hey, please follow the steps for bug reports in the main post so I can track down the issue
  12. Version 1.3 is out. Only the windows build is available at the moment, linux build will be published shortly. Thanks to ddaf for all his contributions that made this possible, this update wouldn't have happened so soon without you. I am sure everyone will be very happy with the additions. Here are the changes: - EVA! - "EVA Jetpack", "EVA Interact", "EVA Jump", "EVA Plant Flag", "EVA AutoRun" have been added - Translation controls now work in EVA - Camera rotation now works in Map mode and IVA mode - Precision mode now works properly EDIT: Linux build is up
  13. Hey, all previous versions are available for download from GitHub. I am sorry to hear that you're getting a crash, may I have a look at your output_log.txt? IVA and EVA controls are coming in the next version thanks to ddaf
  14. If you get the map view working in real-time on my iPad I will love you forever.
  15. Thanks for the feedback! I am very happy this helps people I am aware that this is a bit non-intuitive and I will fix it sometime in the future. The thing is that you have to bind the 'Cycle presets' button on every preset for it to work properly, if you bind it only on one of the presets it will stop working once you press it once. Hope this makes sense Happy flying!
  16. Just a reminder that AFBW is now available on CKAN - this is the preferred installation method, and will probably become the only supported one in the future, so go grab CKAN now You will need to remove your old AFBW installation in order to install from CKAN.
  17. Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate it! The issue with saving the dead-zones was fixed by an awesome patch by ddaf and will be in the next release. For now you can download the latest alpha dll and replace it in your GameData/ksp-advanced-flybywire folder. In order to resolve the second issue I have to ask you to follow the steps for reporting bugs listed in the main post and provide me with at least an output_log.txt after such a crash I am looking into your issue, thanks for the log! This is way outside the scope of this simple mod but if somebody makes such a mod I'll be happy to do whatever's necessary in AFBW to support it AFBW supports hot-plugging of any controller as long as the OS supports it. I would look into your controller driver settings.
  18. Linux build of 1.2.3 is up Tested and working on a vanilla ubuntu 14.04 with libsdl2-dev installed Get it from here Also I will not support KSP x64 on Windows anymore and won't release new versions for it.
  19. I think I have fixed this, you can grab the latest alpha build - x86 or x64 - and try it out
  20. This is some silly regression, that's why I should start writing tests Thanks for the report, I will fix this asap
  21. Version 1.2.3 is up with the following changes: - Fixed the wheel throttle bugs - Added a new "Brakes (Hold)" binding, renamed "Brakes" to "Brakes (Toggle)" - Fixed an issue where some axis combos wouldn't work - New options in controller configuration to set dead-zones from the GUI - Added "Quadratic (Inverted)" interpolation option - New controller test tool - Throttle and wheel throttle now reset to zero when you change vessels I am also working on all the other issues but I wanted to get this out sooner rather than later
  22. Hey, thanks for the log. I am looking into this. So far it seems it's actually an AFBW issue and not KSP so hopefully it's fixable Chris, you can find me on IRC in the next 6-8 hours
