Hi All, The positives won the last round. I want to remind players to remember the rules, posted below for convenience.
-
Oh, we're gonna get him alright, if it's the last thing we do before the thread gets locked. @passinglurker?
-
Hi Galacticvoyager, Any and all reverts must be posted before the ±100 post, except if it's in the same minute, which you can tell from mousing over the timestamp. Also, all reverts should be accompanied by a quote of the post you're referring to. It makes it easier for us GMs to sort through all the pages in a round.

My dream is to work on NASA will KSP help me?
Dman979 replied to Daniel Nobre's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Same. It's hard to find ways to interact with space agencies before college, but like anything, if you want it enough you can make it happen. Try looking into an internship, or even just a meeting with someone. It's better to start networking now, before you need it. In my own (very limited) experience, networking is how you find jobs. Also, you should find out about the ESA. I'm sure that there is someone you can talk to. if you do get the chance, treat it as a professional interview- you never get another chance to make a first impression, and its a networking connection. Be sure to keep in touch with someone after you've met them. -
oops, I'm sorry. @Spaceman Spiff?

My dream is to work on NASA will KSP help me?
Dman979 replied to Daniel Nobre's topic in KSP1 Discussion
KSP is a step above most other space games, but it is not anything close to real life. In the scale of realism, I would go (from least to most): KSP KSP + Realism Overhaul/Real Solar System/ Principa Orbiter Real Life However, you can't go anywhere without learning some basic building blocks, and that's what KSP does really well, for me. It teaches a modified form of the scientific method, and depending on how far you take it, it can teach a lot more, too. It's also a great way to pique your interest in space. -
Hoo-boy, hope I don't get banned for not being your guy! @DuoDex?
-
No bother! It's our job! We like it! It's in review, like every round win. We'll probably get back to you guys shortly.
-
Don't worry about it. In the future, you can also PM a GM for clarification, or just go ahead and post it yourself. We'll come in and sort out any rules issues if we think we're needed. In the meantime, you guys can feel free to start another round.
-
If a poster gets a number wrong, it is the job of the other players to revert back to the last correct number. In most cases, this is only allowed before the ±100 post, except if it's in the same minute.
-
Not quite, just yet.
-
No problem. I'm suggesting that you take a look at rule 7.
-
And remember, please no editing.
-
Uh, no. IIRC, Choctofillatrio2.0 had the last post.
-
Hi guys, On behalf of the GM team, I would like to draw your attention to the following series of posts: We have a small problem with these posts. Choctofilatrio's first post is valid (mouse over the timestamp and you can see that it's the same minute). But Spaceception's second post causes a slight problem. It's the same post as Chocto's, but if it overrides Chocto's, then it's also invalid because it's raising the count by than one number. Assuming that Spaceception's post is not valid, that would also invalidate Chocto's second post becuase he is responding to himself, and all subsequent posts (represented by Spaceception's last post). If someone had caught this before the round was over, it would have been a valid point to revert to. As it stands, the win is good, but players should be vigilant to make sure that they're following the rules. In my time as a player, there were a number of times when a number got skipped, and @Deutherius would keep resetting it back. I'd also like to remind everyone that editing posts is strongly discouraged. It makes it very hard to tell who posted what when. With that in mind, the last valid number is +34, posted by Andem. Fight on!

.3 parts per rail, rounding up to the nearest whole number, and missiles on rails only.
-
And there's the "I don't care about that stuff, it's my game and I do what I want" side.
-
To clarify, posting like that is not breaking the rules, but it is discouraged, and may get you a Medal of Dishonor. But war is war, so play as you see fit- but even war has rules, so follow them, too. Also, the GMs are reviewing the win as we speak. For now, play on!

I liked 'The Lounge' better than 'General Discussion'.

must be the longest april fools joke ever, then. well played, @sal_vager. -
No... I must seem like Negative Nelly to all of you, but I don't think this is a good idea, either. This is Kerbal Space Program. I've made weirder things than @drtricky's box-plane fly. Besides, that limits the number of innovations, again, which I'm never for.
-
I am. But as we all know, my last craft was the Part Clipper, so... I might be biased.
