Yeah, but not enough for repeated dockings and rendezvouses. I think we can all agree that this is a proof-of-pontoon, especially because Kuzzter just said so.

very true, but I don't see any monopro capacity, except if it's hidden in the cargo bay. It might make sense to add at least some weight, now that the ditching system works.

Hmm. Does it get to orbit, though? Not much of a spaceplane if it doesn't, although I suppose you could launch it on top of a rocket- either Orange Knight-style, or inside a fairing. Now that you're not concerned about funds... who needs recoverability? And I don't see any RCS systems on there. Might make docking a bit hard, no? Speaking of which, I don't see any docking port, either. It doesn't look like it's a long-term craft. How will Kuzzter solve this problem? Find out... in the next installment of "Kerbfleet: A Jool Odyssey!" Don't touch that dial!

Hehe, lol. It's going to be a ~330 minute mission, along the lines of Gemini 3. You get to decide the (in-game) launch time, inclination, orbit height, and times for orbital maneuvers, including the deorbit burn. For the deorbit burn, I will give you the ∆V available, and you can calculate the time and direction for the burn. The ∆V for the deorbit burn is a fixed amount, and cannot be changed. You also should tell me 1.5 times the ∆V needed to get to our target orbit, and the ∆V needed for the orbital maneuvers. We will be doing a retrograde burn to a nearly circular orbit, an inclination change, a retro burn to a possible reentry, and the deorbit burn. The possible reentry burn will give us a perigee of ~70km, and the deorbit burn will put the craft on a suborbital trajectory. You decide the initial orbit (no more than 200x200 km, as the launcher doesn't have enough ∆V), the parameters of the second orbit, the degree of plane change, the parameters of the possible reentry orbit, and when to do the deorbit burn. You also need to figure out the burn times for the spacecraft, but that comes after I get the masses for the spacecraft from EECOM. Once you figure out the times to execute each burn, EECOM will give me the mass of the consumables at the burns, and I will give you the total mass of the spacecraft and the thrust available at each burn. From that, you should be able to figure out how long the burn times are for each maneuver. Does that make sense? If not, I can try and explain it a different way.

Why is June spelled "Jun?"

I don't like it. I just got here, and I don't want to get pushed out of the capsule that quickly. On the flip side, I made it! Thanks, Endersmens. -
I didn't get to see them live, but I chuckled in the middle of english class. Now everyone's starign at me. Great job!

4. It was a picture of the Philmont arrowhead patch. Right now, it's just showing [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]. 5. Ok, I understand this. But if I REP something that you posted, your count goes up. If I unrep it later (say, a week later), does your count go down? 7. What about posts in the forum games? 8. How hard are you working now? It must be exhausting to wade through all the issues.

What are the grey dots above people's avatars? I see rep below, do they mean the same thing? Why are the BBcodes broken? Why is the avatar thing screwing with my picture? Why is my sigpic broken? Why can we rep posts in the forum games? And most importantly, why are we allowed to unlike something? Doesn't this mean that we can take rep away?

My dinner was crap. I got to see my grandparents, which was nice, but the food was awful. They just moved into an apartment, so we went out to eat. The "restaurant" ran out of dark meat, broke a glass in the first 5 minutes, was understaffed, the food was lukewarm, the gravy was like eating warm pudding (which is fine, if it were pudding, but it was gravy- it didn't even look like gravy), the turkey was dry, the waiter spilled salad dressing on the floor, the cranberry sauce obviously came from a can (and was served in little plastic containers), the deserts were too sweet, the coffee was like making love in a canoe, and the general thing was bad. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience: NEVER AGAIN! But I did get to go the the NYC parade and watch it from a 6-foot ladder. Great views- I was at 45th and 6th Ave.

It looks very nice. Need to rep you for it. How did you get the cockpit like that?

I built the Gemini spacecraft and Gemini-Titan Launch Vehicle for the Apollo Recreation Mission. We're in the last stages of mission prep for our first manned launch on Sunday! Ignition is at 18:59:54 GMT, Sunday, November 29, 2015! If you want to watch the launch, information will be on our thread in the coming days. Well, it doesn't have to be. One may simply assume that the helmet visors are different. Just as one would not create an entire ship for a simulation, just the command module, one does not need to create an entire sound-stage, just a VR set.

Isn't it obvious? It means "Potential Silliness Arena."
Thanks so much for noticing that! It's really not so hard to get a language right once you understand its rules. Trouble is that many on the internet don't pay enough attention to what they're reading there, and their own writing suffers because of it :)
One must understand the rules in order to play the game correctly, and one must also know the rules in order to have one's grammar, tense, and subject in agreement. However, excessive use of the third-person imperative may lead one to slowly become insane.

Congratulations! For the 1,000th, can we have a transmogrifier?

Hi all. A reminder- ignition is at GMT 18:59:56, November 29, 2015. The mission control team should be online and at stations by 18:00:00 GMT on the same day. Be sure to check your internet connections, mods, and comms setup. To everyone else: The PAO will make an announcement about when the livestream will start and how to access it.

Nice!

For those of you interested in spaceflight (I think that means most of you!), there's a new course starting today from edX. It's called "From Goddard to Apollo: The History of Rockets." It's a three-part series on human spaceflight. It's free, but if you want a certificate than you can pay some money. It's the same course either way. They also have classes on other subjects, too. Here's the link: https://www.edx.org/course/goddard-apollo-history-rockets-part-1-ieeex-atg1-x#!

Mods: I thought that this would get the most views here, as opposed to the Space Lounge, where I know it belongs. I just want it to get more traffic so that users who don't normally visit the Space Lounge can see it, because they might be interested. There's a copy of this thread there. At the end of the day (when registration closes) can you lock this?

Ah. I saw that it was edited today. But I made it, RIC, I made it!
