  3. Please add a [0.16] tag to the front of the mods post title. We\'re trying to get some standardization going here with [KSPver#] ModName [MODver#]. Thanks! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  4. Abracadabra! A\'la ka-ZAM! *POOF* You\'re an Avatar. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  5. The best line of the Opening Ceremonies was from Bob Costas as the North Korean team was being shown. “Of course the greatest athlete ever in North Korea is none other than the former Dear Leader Kim Jong Il who, according to his official bio, hit eleven holes in one in golf — not over the course of his career, mind you, but in his very first round of golf. At least two of those came off the windmill and the clown’s nose.†- Bob Costas, NBC What a hoot! Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  6. Alienware used to be the best gaming rigs you could get. Since Dell bought them, well, that\'s really all you need to know. Self-build is the best way to go. It\'s not that hard as long as you get someone to help you pick the parts to make sure they will work together. There\'s plenty of people on various forums out there that will even help you build it by answering your questions. Also, there is a certain amount of satisfaction and pride in pointing to your gaming rig and telling your buddies, 'yeah, I built that beasty myself!' I will second the NewEgg choice. You can get great deals and information. Don\'t forget to price check them against Amazon. I found I saved $90 and shipping costs going with Amazon over NewEgg. Amazon also has great product return policies. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  7. The whole design point of the SRB is that it\'s light once and let \'er rip. Your assertion that the thrust can\'t be varied is incorrect however. By changing the shape of the the way the fuel is packed into the casing they can vary the amount of thrust and I think the shuttles SRBs had this. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  8. You should place the version number of your program at the end of your title. Even the date of update at the end would help. Also, make the version number easily viewable in your program. Keep up the good work! Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  12. Your program really should be able to ignore blank lines and comments (lines that start with //). Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  14. You do realize this version is a half-step towards the full set of larger parts and very little tuning has been done? When using alpha software you have to learn to deal with the good and bad. The game is not broken, just incomplete. If this is a problem for you, then testing alpha software may not be for you. Complaining about something that is incomplete doesn\'t help anyone. Cheers! 16. POST = Power On Self Test This means the device failed it\'s self testing diagnostics when it was powered up. This usually means the motherboard cannot communicate with the video card. Try reseating the card in your mobo. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  20. What purpose would it serve for things to operate while you\'re not even there to see or experience it? Any task it might have can just be faked with a timer until results are produced. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  21. Unfortunately, no, MJ won\'t do that. It *is*, however, possible to write into a plugin code to keep a part facing a specific direction. The PowerSat plugin does this to keep the sat dish pointed at Kerbin and the solar panels to the sun. The big issue here is that once you switch control to another craft, the first one is packed up and put on rails if it\'s farther than 2k from your active craft. Cheers! 23. MechJeb can be used to make any part pilotable. Of course the part need control devices such as RCS, but yes, you can control a satellite with a MJ. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  24. Annnnnnnnnd we\'re done. This is descending into a completely unrelated topic of women in gaming, etc etc. The suggestion of female Kerbals has been noted. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  25. You paid for a game in ALPHA development. That means that anything and everything could be bugged at any time. That\'s the nature of the beast. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
