  1. You didn\'t need to start another thread on this. Now, just for the record, you\'re not trying to open the ladder in the VAB, it\'s after going to the launchpad, correct? Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  4. The reference to 'fresh meat' was an inside joke reference to another game, it really wasn\'t meant to be sexist. I do agree though, in the game they should remain unisex. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  5. Yes, but do you use them? Do you actively search for mods that work with those versions? Even if your answer is yes, the number of people using old versions, not counting the demo, is going to be very small. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  6. If you would look at the last date the author has posted as well as whether or not the title of the mod has the current version, it would be obvious as to which ones are old and aren\'t likely to work. Some of those mods have even been implemented in the stock parts of the game! (C7) We don\'t delete old threads as the author could always come back, some people are interested in reading about old threads, and we aren\'t generally concerned as those threads age and move further down the pages. 7. The save file is just a text file. Open Notepad, browse to the saves folder and open it. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  8. Ya know, indicating that your mod works in older versions of KSP is kinda useless. I would seriously hope no one is still using those versions. ;P Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  9. Here\'s a female Kerbal for ya! http://www.kerbalcomics.com/2012/03/11/episode-four-new-meat/ Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky Kerbal Comics
  10. If you don\'t mind a little editing of the persistence file, you can put anything into orbit. First, launch a simple craft into the orbit you want to use. Name it Placeholder. Then build your station and make it as big as you want. Using the SPH makes this easier. Just make sure the bottom has a few stand offs so it won\'t collapse on the runway. Once it\'s built, hit launch to get it on the runway. Exit the game and load the persistence file up in notepad. Find the Placeholder vessel and copy all of the orbital info. Locate the station vessel and paste over and replace the stations orbital info with the placeholder info. Go back and delete the entire placeholder vessel. Save the file. Now, when you restart the game, your station will be in orbit where the placeholder was. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  11. Maybe, maybe not. The only way to tell is to load it up unless you know the specifics of what changed and what\'s in the mod. To play it safe, only use mods that the author has marked specifically as being 0.16 compatible. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  12. Sounds like you also need someone that is a good UV Mapper. I can do textures given a good UV map, but I have seen few of those and know of even less people that are good at it. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  13. Integrated video is known to be underpowered for gaming, especially if your using a mobile device such as a laptop or tablet. They are designed for lower power consumption and won\'t have the beef needed to really push the edge. Also, I was referring to the drivers more than your actual GPU. Perhaps if you posted a new topic in the support forum with the information requested in this sticky we might be able to better help you. http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=11693.0 Cheers! 15. Let me guess, you have an AMD/ATI video card? I believe there are some known issues with Unity and the latest drivers for those cards. Either way, your problem is with Unity and not KSP. I suggest you pop over to the Unity forums for assistance. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  17. As the previous posters have said, a sudden graphics glitch followed by a shutdown is almost always caused by your graphics chip overheating. Also, running two A/V at the same time is very bad. Pick one and remove the other. I recommend you keep Avast. It\'s very well behaved with gaming. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  18. Just remember, what you find interesting and fun in a game may not be fun or interesting to someone else and vice versa. It\'s a delicate balance that all game designers have to work with. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  21. It\'s a special item for the test team. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  22. Nope, not here. Sorry, but I\'m killing this thread now before the flamefest begins. If you want to talk religion, take it to one of the 1000\'s of other forums where it\'s welcome. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  23. Very important. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Specific_impulse Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  24. Yes, KSP will still support DAE files. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  25. Nope, the PartLab and any files that come with it are likely to be obsolete as it\'s several versions old. The good news is they are working on a completely new set of tools, on the other hand, it may take a while before we can get our hands on it. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
