The site is remotely hosting mod downloads and is doing so without the permission or knowledge of the mod creators.. As such, you are at risk of the following: The file is broken and non-functional The file is infected with a virus or malware The file has been altered to be harmful or breach security on your system (such as editing and recompiling a plugin DLL file to be malicious) Furthermore, the mods are listed without author recognition or links back to the original source, so there is no way to determine if the file is legitmate, or acquire it directly from the author, or even to verify that it is the newest, most up-to-date version. Therefore, it if recommended that you avoid downloading files from this site unless you can absolutely verify their authenticity and integrity. Advertisements and links to the site will no longer be allowed until the site can verified as secure and compliant with copyright rules. If you are a mod author who has had something hosted there without permission, it is suggested you contact the site via their contact information HERE (either by form submission or email) to request removal. It is also suggested that you add a \'license\' clause to your download files and mod topics outlining the specific rules regarding your work (such as not allowing it to be distributed elsewhere without without explicit permission, especially if you are distributing plugin files) Unfortunately, the KSP staff cannot do anything beyond removing troublesome user\'s access to the forums.
