  2. If you bothered to notice, this thread is very old. When I created the pack the game was in a much different state. It\'s not as simple as copying a new file into the parts folder anymore. Obviously you should launch as close to the inclination you want remembering that the further from an West to East equatorial orbit you get, the more thrust you need to reach your desired orbit. To change the inclination of an existing circular orbit, burn at 90 degree angle to current orbit until desired inclination is achieved. Arrr! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  11. I think that\'s the idea. You start by being able to build 'junkyard' rockets. Low funding, high failure. As you complete tasks, you get to improve things increasing not only reliability, but cost as well. Then with research you can start to lower cost without loss of reliability or increase reliability with minimal cost. Arrr! Capt\'n Skunky

  13. Show off your awesome KSP Pictures - Part 2!! Rules: Use img tags to insert pictures into posts. F1 takes screenshots in game. Only post pictures in spoiler tags if they are over 1920x1080. (This is an exception to the rules and approved by the staff) This is a screenshot thread so a 56k warning is a given. Uploading your pictures first to an online host like imgur, photobucket, etc is preferred. Try to take screens at the maximum resolution you can run KSP at. F2 allows you to hide the HUD. Some(but not all) pictures like environment shots look better without it. In .14 the middle mouse button will allow you to pitch and yaw on the camera's axis instead of the central point Chronological montages from cool missions are welcome! Cheers!   19. That\'s outside the scope of what this was for. Details like that were deliberately left out so they could be worked out separately. Personally, a testing program would be nice, but just launching them and looking at the results is more of a Kerbal-style testing. Arrr! Capt\'n Skunky

  21. Yup, this doesn\'t take into consideration the upgrade process. I deliberately left that out so multiple methods could be considered. I also left out anything about obtaining things through other means such as purchasing. Obviously this is something for a campaign mode and you would start out with minimal basics to create your own craft. Arrr! Capt\'n Skunky
  22. It\'s probably flipping because you still have some horizontal speed. If you use the MechJeb plugin, you can use it to kill all horizontal speed before landing. Or you can just let MechJeb land for you. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  23. Those alternate configs would go in the parts folder so they overwrite the vanilla game files. They replace the vanilla configs with information allowing them to give you a cockpit view. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
