  1. I was brainstorming the other day and thought about how the tech tree would work. This is just a basic framework concept with a lot of room for wiggle. Remember, this was just some concept planning designed to get the brain juices flowing and get a discussion started, it\'s not anything official. Arrr! Capt\'n Skunky
  2. I tried that and it didn\'t work with my copy of SketchUp Pro > I\'m not really familiar enough with the whole process to know if there is anything else you need other than .DAE export. I do know you also need to be able to do UV wrapping to texture your parts. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  3. Yes, we will probably add a mods section to the wiki provided we have a way to keep it up to date. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  4. The wiki is for factual game information. If you want to put fiction up, you have the Fan Fiction board. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  5. You can attach them to you post by clicking the link 'Attachements and other options' below the box where you type your message, or your can go the preferred route and upload them to an image hosting site like imgur.com and then using the image link button (it\'s below the Bold formatting button). Also, make sure you wrap large images in spolier tags (the Nuke symbol button) to help keep your post compact. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  6. The main problem with using SkecthUp, even the pro version, it that it doesn\'t support .DAE export, so you will have to load into another program like Blender in order to get a usable model. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  11. You do realize this is alpha software and therefore has had no optimization or tuning done as well as having extra debugging code that runs? These are things that are usually left for the final stages of development. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  12. Welcome to the KSP Forums! The CAPTCHA will go away after 5 posts. It\'s there to help fend off spammers and we get a lot of those still attempting to try. Happy Launching! Arrr! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  14. Radion, if you are interested, I can edit that SQL file to do smaller batches if you like. Arrr! Capt\'n Skunky

  16. You get a bump in rank based on post count. Be forewarned, posting just to bump your post count will quickly earn you the ire of the moderators, so don\'t do that. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  18. Ah, I see, it\'s a backup of the database from your forum. I thought it was a scrape of the old RP forums here. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  19. Is it not just what had been posted? I can\'t imagine there being any information in the file that wasn\'t already publicly available on the forums when it was up. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  20. Do a search on your hard drive for *.craft and it should find them. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  21. Radion, you might just want to post that backup file on Mediafire and let people download it to extract whatever they want. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  22. popeter, you were warned because you made the implication of piracy. We take those issues very seriously and it\'s no joking matter. You\'re talking about take food from the mouths of the devs that we have all come to know and love. As far as know, you can\'t buy multiple copies with the same account. You can, however, create a new account, purchase the game, then give that account away. I see nothing wrong with that since as far as Squad can see, everything is being done legit. Yes, it would be best if we wait for Squad to provide a gifting mechanism, but I don\'t see any issue with the above method in the meantime. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  23. Hey Nova, this thread is over 1000 replies, can I get you to start a new thread? SMF starts taking a performance hit at 1000+ replies on a single thread. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  24. Yo dawg, orbiting. Arrr! Capt\'n Skunky
  25. There\'s no limit on how many copies you can buy. Once you have bought them, they are your to do what you want with including giving them away. Cheers! Capt\'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
