Ahh! This must be where im going wrong in 1.0. Ive been trying to fly the old way (straight up to 10000 then turn sharp to 45 degrees) and all that's happening is my craft starts spinning out of control. - - - Updated - - - Ahh! Hi all...just a quickie.....ive now got V 1.0 and its great, however it did knock out my game saves. That aside, I have 4 mods I typically use....mechjeb, chatterer, kw rocketry and planetshIne. 2 mods, mechjeb and chatterer work fine, however the other 2 dont work? Is this just because the mod creators havnt updated yet or will they be gone for good?

Can you stage 2 docked items as 1 rocket?
maceemiller replied to maceemiller's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Thank you to you that answered....my mind now is working more than what it was before I asked this question however ive taken from your answers so now my next Duna mission will be based on snippets of these.... Man this experience only gets better! - - - Updated - - - awesome answer......Thank you -
Hi all! Ok so I've just managed to put my lander on Duna yesterday so now my head is asking questions. Having watched many videos all about KSP, my knowledge base is growing (its still very small though lol). Heres my question..... My lander on Duna has no fuel left to get me into orbit, never mind get back home. So, if I was to repeat this mission, and send 2 parts of a rocket into orbit around Kerbin, dock them and get ready to return to Duna, is it possible for me to control the 2 parts of my rocket as 1? Can I stage the 2 of them just from the Space Bar or do I need to control each of them separately from an individual command pod? I hope this question makes sense

ISA mapsat on KSP 0.90 help
maceemiller replied to maceemiller's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
AlexinTokyo and sumghai thankyou very much. Its really bugged me for ages. Thank you again -
Hi everyone. Quick question if I may. I have tried to install ISA mapsat x4 on to KSP 0.90. I attatch the dish yet all I see when I hit the icon on the bottom left of my screen is a grey rectangular box on my screen? I have tried extracting to ksp, moving to ksp etc, yet every time the outcome is the same? Is it me or the wrong mapsat?

If I've missed this in the Forums, please moderator delete OK, I've stayed away from mods in my time on KSP, yet after many failures at trying to reach other planets (Eve to be exact) I decided to try MechJeb 2 2.4.2.0 and yes, I can get it all on the screen etc. I created a custom window as all I want MechJeb for is to give me the planetary phase angles. I can see these but even when Eve is roughly 51 degrees behind me, it doesnt show the negative angle, it just shows as 309 degrees? I've watched videos on YouTube (namely Scott Manley) and they all show a negative angle when behind? Am I missing something or doing it wrong? Thankyou in advance

Gone to Minmus and Mun, what next?
maceemiller replied to Vindaloo's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I have also been to the Mun and Minmus and made it back from both. At the moment I'm practicing docking to make a space station as such. Docking, for me though is the most elegent experience I've had yet in the game. Its a beautiful ride! -
Spare time......ahhhh id forgotton about that!
-
Sounds great! Im not quite at that stage yet but learning fast! Good luck with your mission!
-
So, after quite a hours and attempts at stuff I can now orbit, land on the Mun and dock every time with ease.....loving each new achievement which certainly opens up more in the brain! For me, docking is an amazing experience and so rewarding. Time to start work on a new space station!
-
Thx dude.....cant wait to get back on it 2night!
-
So, just a quick update on my progress....just made it into orbit around the Mun!! Cant get home though lol
-
Wow! Just stumbled across this and looking forward to some watching and learning. Thankyou!
-
Lol thanks for all your replies. I know I'm going to like this forum! Well, time to get off to my day job.....really, im just wasting time till I can get back into orbit and hunt down the Mun! Thankyou all again for making me feel welcome

Hi everyone! Just wanted to say that in 30+ years of gaming on everything from a ZX81 upto a PS4 and everything in between, NOTHING has made me feel like KSP. Ive had the game for 7 days now, tinkering away and reading/watching tutorials, not really knowing what to do or where to go. Today though, all my learning is paying off as I managed a circular orbit using maneuver nodes and landed safely......not a massive challenge for many im sure, but the feeling of actually doing it!! Unbelievable! I look forward to going through these forums as for the last 2 mornings at 6am as I woke to goto my day job, the first thing ive found myself thinking about is my apoapsis!! I doubt I'll play anything else for a loooong time now!
