  2. Hi all. I really could do with some guidance here. Last night I spent 3 hours trying to get 64bit running but no matter what I tried all I get when I run the .exe is Data Folder not found There should be 'KSP.exe_Data' folder next to the executable I have followed the instructions on the first page of this post exactly to the letter using fresh installs and the correct version of unity as stated. I have also tried using the latest version of unity but with the same results. I have read through this thread and still I cannot fathom it. Could some kind pilot please explain in a dumbed down way some simple steps for me to follow. I can provide any extra information you may need. Thankyou in advance
  3. Im presuming then its due to you using a 64bit KSP. Ive been looking at installing a 64bit version today but couldnt get it working. Maybe try "downgrading" to 32bit and trying again? Sorry im not much help but im not a techie....I just try to help if I feel I have something remotely helpful to say. If anyone more advanced could help with this, I would like to learn as im sure Auxil would
  4. How did you install the mods you have? Was it manually or using CKAN?
  5. Hi all. Ive just downloaded tweakscale and it works for most parts but not all. Is this normal? I do have various mods so this may be the problem. Any answers? I can provide a list of my mods, but if it generally doesnt rescale everything im ok with that, I just need to know

  7. Well, I launched an orange tank to dock with my space station. All went well until I fired up the RCS thrusters and my ship behaved odd......id only put 4 thrusters at one end so it didnt do what I wanted....I know, I know.....complete schoolboy error

  9. I was just wondering what your favourite part is when you are building either space planes or rockets and why. It can either be a stock or modded part. Mine would have to be a simple parachute because without it I cant get my Kerbals home! Hopefully this post might introduce other players to parts they may have never used before
  10. I have the stutter on my game, however it doesn't affect my enjoyment one little bit! For all the little bits'n'bobs that may not be 100% working correctly there is plenty that is. I for one am not bothered about the stutter.

  13. Hi all. Im having a problem which maybe related to Real Fuels and/or Stockalike. Since updating RF in CKAN im getting "no ignitions left" once I shut down an engine and try to re-fire it, however in the VAB it says I have 2 ignitions left? Also, how are these used correctly? Alongside this, sometimes I get thrust off the launchpad but no flame out of the rocket? Please can someone help me?
  14. I have same upon launch. What I do is zoom out and change my FOV to the sky and just use the navball.....no lag at all. I then zoom in when cleared the EVE cloud layer.
  15. Hi all So I have a couple of questions here if I may. I havnt updated my mods via CKAN for a while so last night I decided to do it. All went well with the update so I carried on with my sandbox mission, docking another part to my spacestation. I left Kerbin with a rocket of mine which had a KR-2L+ "Rhino" engine strapped to the bottom. The launch went well and my idea was to use this same engine to achieve orbit as I had plenty of deltaV. I shut my engine down when I hit my required apaoapsis, set a manouver node and went to fire up the engine again......nothing happened!! I was informed that I had no more ignitions left?? Ive never seen this before so I reverted back to the VAB, right clicked the engine and it said I had 2 available ingnitions? Am I doing something wrong here? Another thing I have noticed is that in the VAB, when I goto the fuel tank builder I seem to have my FASA engines in there too? Ive used FASA for a while now and never noticed this before? Before I posted these questions I did a full, clean install. Any help would be much appreciated as its doing my head in!!

  18. I had this problem too. I had a battery pack directly under the probe and it was overheating and exploding every time. I conducted a few tests and found that if I moved the battery pack further away from the probe the exploding stopped. Not sure if moving it away does actually help but in my case it did.
  19. Urm, sort of! I use Real Fuels and while I right click to fill all my tanks for some reason I didnt do this with my monopropellant tank! What a fool I feel
  20. Hi all. So, I have the Docking Port Alignment Indicator mod installed from ckan (1.0.4) yet there is no button to activate it? I am currently in a paused game 237.3m away from where I want to dock, however when I click on the port i want to dock with I only have the option to change its name? One thing to note though, when I fire up KSP I get an incompatible toolbar warning even though its apparently up to date in ckan's eyes? Any help please? EDIT: Never mind.....I hadnt enabled it from the toolbar icon.....my bad
  21. Hi all. Went to dock and my rcs wasnt working. Got rcs fuel, thruster blocks etc. Have docked 100 times before and never had this problem however I noticed that my ship was hot and the thruster blocks were glowing red. Could this be the reason why they wont work? I had activated RCS by pressing R and the light on the navball came on. Thankyou in advance for any help.
  22. I would say your running out of memory. ATM doesnt do much to help now. Astronomers visual pack uses tons of memory on its own. Im sure when a member with more technical knowledge looks at your crash report, lack of memory will be the problem.
