  2. Hello, I made Ju 87 in KSP. It carries 4 bombs under wings and 1 heavy bomb underneath a cockpit. Here is some screenshots. It is heavy plane, kind of easy to control, but hard to maneuver and gain height (especially when bombs are equipped). Expect to lose a lot of speed when turning too fast.   3. Yes, I know, they don't make sense just like a lot of vanilla kerbonauts' names, but look nice. I mean look mysterious enough for non-russian speaker. And random. I didn't add non-slavic-looking surnames because it would be very strange to see "Sergei Gaga-r-and" or somebody like that. If we would have different kinds of sets of names, then it would make sense. Germanic names are in one set, Arabic names are in another set, etc. And I think it is possible to add patronymic right now. Put first name in "FIRSTNAME1", put space in "FIRSTNAME2", put patronymic in "FIRSTNAME3". But I am afraid some monitors wouldn't be big enough to fit something like "VYACHESLAV VYACHESLAVOVICH ZALYOVISHNIKIN". Hehe.

Right now it generates the same names for every new game for me.

  6. Thanks to you for letting me know. I remember that I unpicked 'add to CKAN' -thing, but it appears that the mod was still added there. So I feel like I should provide compatibility. At first I thought that it takes the last uploaded version as a current version but it seems doesn't. I will look into this a bit later, CKAN looks complicated for me for now.

  8. With Kolago's configs you wouldn't need that. Leaving a link to this thread would be enough. I messaged Kolago, asked about permission to include his configs in the package. Once I permission will be given, I rearrange folders and files and reupload the mod again. Something like stock Structural Fuselage, Mk1 Liquid Fuel Fuselage and... Standard Nosecone? Hm, I will think about that. No, not only. Separate parts are for different proposes. Karbonite is not only fuel, right? It can be converted into liquid fuel, oxidizer and electricity. It makes Karbonite special. I hope you understand what I mean. In this case you would like to merge RCS fuel and xenon tanks too. Is there a way to remove certain files using just MM configs? Anyway, I would be glad to make your proposed changes optional, if you wouldn't mind.

  10. It says I installed mods correctly. Should have install the latest version of SCANsat as well, everything works now. I am sorry. Yes, I know about hotspots on new version of karbonite, but there are no information about them in MKS/OKS thread.
  11. So, I installed the latest versions of MKS and Karbonite and resource scanning does not work at all. I tried to use stable and dev versions of SCANsat, but it still didn't work.   12. Yeah. I do that too. The first mission related to the Mun is called 'Mun-1'. The second is 'Mun-2' and so on. Flags are '%Mission name% (crew names starting from the commander)', so something like 'Mun-7 (Jebediah, Munbas, Scott)'. During a mission I add letters to numbers. R is for a rover, P is for a probe, M is for something manned, MS is for a mothership, etc. For example, 'Duna-3R'. Which means: the third Duna mission and this vessel is a rover. Space stations are just 'SS-%celestial body%-%number of space station orbiting this celestial body%'. So, 'SS-Kerbin-2'. Bases are much like space stations, but have 'OP' (outpost) instead of 'SS'. Satellites are something like 'the first and the last letter of a planet (three letters if it is a natural satellite)-kind of orbit in two letters-number a satellite there'. So, 'KN-SO-1', 'MUN-LO-3'. LO is for low orbit, SO is synchronous orbit, etc. Also there are launching rockets in a subassembles named for something kind of space related+letter in alphabetical order showing how much weight this rocket can deliver. Also, I add description to all of them. A rocket which has a capacity to deliver 20T on LKO is 'Dust-D'. The description is '20T-LKO'. A rocket for Dune one trip could be 'Star-B'. The description is '10T-DUNA TRANSFER '. The whole system is pretty logical. I am glad I came onto this, so no need to be creative with vessel naming. The only weak point is launching rockets. Maybe I should call them after their "target"+weight letter+some letter if it can return payload back to the Kerbin.
  13. We do not call people africa-humans, asia-humans, america-humans, etc. We call them Africans, Asians and Americans. Why wouldn't we call Mars colonists as Martians? We do know there are no aliens on the Mars, so term 'martian' is empty.The same goes for other celestial bodies.

  15. Those who live on the Earth are eartlings. Mars - martian. Venus - venusian. But what about KSP planets? Who do live on Kerbin? Kerblings? Kerbinlings? Kerbitians? What about Dune, Eve and other celestial bodies. How would kerbals who were born in colonies call themselves?
  16. I noticed something. I looked through config files and found out different configs have different... patterns? Some of them have strings like '...textures/' and others are '...textures/.' And these ones with the dot at the end work properly. Adding a dot in the SCANsat.cfg and deleting cache folder made icons stop being blurry.
  17. 1. To get you into an orbit in FAR you should start turning almost from the beginning, something like ~1km and do it very slowly. Make it fast and see your rocket just broke apart. And if you have problems with SAS, well... add some more winglets (or how it is called). 2. Your antenna probably broke in atmosphere due to a high pressure. To prevent this, make the antenna 'start retracted' in VAB and hide it under the fairings.
  18. What is more efficient: Leave SOI (with a gravity assist from a satellite) and then burn or burn from the orbit? Burning from 75k orbit, 100k orbit or 2kk orbit (dV to get the exact orbit sums with an interplanetary burn)? And. Is a gravity assist in this game useful at all?
