JT2227: First, your source specifically states using a zero boil off active refrigeration system. Second, RO doesn't change anything for boil off. That is all real fuels. So if you have further issues, you need to bring that up in that thread. Third, and most importantly, related to that, starwaster is working on a new boil off mechanism with real fuels. Should make all of this a moot point.

While the Shuttle did drop its boosters while still had minimal thrust remaining there are in fact 4 separation motors on BOTH the top and the bottom of EACH SRB. So actually those jets are realistically correct. -

Perhaps he wasn't clear. RealChute doesn't model the lines, just the chute. Excessive speed / dynamic pressure will get you every time. -
@ebigunso: What needs to happen is get steps to reproduce the error. Your save file means nothing, other than it's likely corrupted in some way shape or form. If you can reproduce the steps to get the same error, then there is a problem. I'd also suggest you start with a limited mod set when you reproduce. Use RealFuels, stock alike, and KW and that's it. Then you can be sure it's RealFuels and/or engine configs for it.

ebigunsosd. Please provide a detailed scenario of duplication steps. I'd also like to propose that this may not be an issue with RealFuels but with the stockalike config itself. If this were a giant bug within RealFuels, then essentially anything that used it would not work. Since that appears to not be the case, then I'd look further at the engine config itself.

They can eat quite a bit of RAM. They are realistic, real scale objects. Scaled down 80%. Not stock like at all. -

It'll get fixed, lets all calm down. Some unsuspected issues. KSPI isn't part of the RO suite, so it likely never got tested, or nobody else bothered to report the issue.

No, no, no. It is changing the MODULE which controls the engine. From the stock ModuleEngines or ModuleEnginesFX to a new ModuleEnginesRF that has additional goodies added by NathanKell, which is apparently is breaking KSPI. RO is in the wrong, it will be corrected. Let's just drop this.

I think the best course of action is simply not having RO convert ModuleEngines/FX to RF to things otherwise not touched by RealismOverhaul. A permanent setting of RSSROConfig = False applied to KSPI engines along with the above should cure it.

What I see as the easiest way to resolve the issue is to only have ModuleEnginesRF be applied to engines actually changed by RO. Not doing everything as it is right now. Simple fix. Remove this file: RealismOverhaul/RealPlume_Configs/000_Generic_Plumes_Catchall/000_ModuleEnginesFixer.cfg I imagine a permanent fix will be forthcoming in new versions of RO.

Not that I can see right now. What wouldn't be a bad idea is having the 'RSSROConfig = False' flag prevent the change from ModuleEngines/FX to ModuleEnginesRF to avoid a conflict such as this. - - - Updated - - - Yeah, pretty apparent the change to ModuleEnginesRF is causing the issue.
