Clouds in stock KSP
Windspren replied to justspace103's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
This would be great, especially with lightning and auroras. To the people saying that this would affect performance a lot, I have an 8 year old laptop that I occasionally use for KSP, and with EVE with AVP Interstellar and 24 other mods, I get about the same FPS as without EVE. -
Yeah, that's a good idea. Maybe there could be an additional factor for tidally locked moons? Not sure what you mean on the second thing.

Request for custom Filter Extensions config

Several changes to the category structure (sorry to double post, but this isn't getting any attention) -
Why my plane crash before takeoff?
Windspren replied to Pawelk198604's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Looks like your center of thrust is way too high. Move those engines farther back and place them so that they are even with the plane's wings.- 12 replies

Request for custom Filter Extensions config
Windspren replied to Windspren's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I added a few part mods and stuff. Can someone do this for 1.1, and does 1.1 allow for subcategories? -
I really like this idea, and it fits with having parameters of each celestial body be hidden until you take specific readings there.

[old thread] Trajectories : atmospheric predictions
Windspren replied to Youen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
The developer of RealisticAtmospheres PMed me and told me that it works, but the landing prediction is more than 200 km off. -
It's worship! We sacrifice ships and kerbs to the Kraken in exchange for FTL!

Has anyone figured out if K-Drives work in 1.1?

[WIP] Nert's Dev Thread - Current: various updates
Windspren replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
When are you going to remake the nuclear reactor models? I'm hoping it will be before 1.1. -
My only worry is that the Trajectories mod won't work with this.

[old thread] Trajectories : atmospheric predictions
Windspren replied to Youen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Is this compatible with Realistic Atmospheres? -
Do the various changes show up in the Tracking Station info?

Suggestion - Window-only transparency

Well. That might be a bit too spammy for my tastes.^^- 18 replies

Ariane 6 is set to match (CURRENT) SpaceX F9 Prices Per Kg
Windspren replied to fredinno's topic in Science & Spaceflight
If they increased prices, that would encourage other launch companies to start up and SpaceX would be forced to lower prices by the free market. This is why it's really hard to keep a monopoly on something. The article said that they were comparing the Ariane 64 to the F9. I think that they're building a factory which will make cheap WiFi sats. -
There are some pretty cratered parts of Minmus, especially on the side opposite of the Great Flats.

It looks like an inverted-color Minmus. Maybe the Mun is also colored the opposite from the Kerbulan Mun?

The radiation from the engines, even when not burning, would fry the Kermulans even from far away.

Doesn't the Intrepid have several clusters of highly radioactive engines? They could just point them at the Kermulans, or burn at them if they are feeling particularly nasty.

That post has a lot of inaccuracies. First of all, it is impossible to communicate information using entanglement, because the state of entanglement collapses as soon as it is observed. Second of all, physicists have not created entangled black holes. Finally, wormholes are still theoretical, and have not been created by entangled particles. That post looks like pure clickbait for people who are interested in theoretical physics but know very little about its fundamentals.

Gravity does not rely on quantum entanglement, and entangled particles are not wormholes.

You're really confusing quantum gravity. Quantum gravity is an attempt to merge General Relativity with the Standard Model, not some magic gravity entanglement force. In any case, a state of entanglement will collapse as soon as it is observed rendering it useless.
