  1. I kind of got too exited with this... and got an idea... Nuke to the Moon using FASA Saturn V + Nova! Getting VERY close Fire. Lag. Awesomeness. Up top. LOOK HOW FRIEKEN BIG. IT IS AMAZING.
  2. Hello, I don't know what this does. But you should read your PM.

  3. Yukon0009, if you want you can have the idea. I can make other systems (I am working on Gliese-581 system just to learn how to make the planets well. So if you want to do this, just say.
  4. Hm. Currently the computer I am using right now is kind of on one leg, I am trying to get a new tower. But Nixe turned out well, everything else is kinda doing bad because I have no idea whatsoever how to use PQS mods for the config. I am learning though!
  5. By far my favorite thing yet far- Nixe! Nixe is a large moon of Gliese-581d that orbits about 8 million (semimajoraxis) from Gliese-581d. The Mun orbits 12 million from Kerbin. Nixe is 50 percent the size and 37 percent mass of its parent, making a huge body-to-parent proportion. Some pics. Notice- Gliese-581d is not done. I want it to have an ataquette atmosphere and a different surface. (For some reason, the atmosphere asl is 0.0091239 or something, and the template is the Mun.) A full Nixe. Nixe in map view. Nixe as a cresent Nixe. Notice the two stars- Gliese-581 and Kerbol. Gliese-581 is so small that Gliese-581d (the planet) orbits closer to it than Kerbin orbits Kerbol, yet it appears millions of kilometers away. Half Nixe. - - - Updated - - - I love how Nixe appears hyper-realistic.
  6. The Endurance isn't actually going to be in this. It has too many parts, and creates extreme lag.
  7. Gliese 581c Progress: . The atmosphere isnt Venus or Eve-like, it is Duna copy. But the surface is like it should.
  8. Version 0.1.0 (Beta stage) Colors in red havn't been started. Orange: Started at the least, (maybe a basic template but fails a lot/I don't know how to make up close land details, like when you get below 200,000 meters.) Yellow: Partially created, prototype done. Not done, but is actually in the game. Light green: Mostly done, just final bugs to fix. Green: Completely done. Gliese 581b: Super hot gas giant with a couple moons Gaxen: (JAH-CKS-SIN) A clump of clay. Yes, it has water. It orbits Gliese 581b at a rather strange orbit, and is pretty small. Coming up as Tylo for some reason. Kopernic: Large smooth, cold dusty moon that always remains behind Gliese-581b. If the physics allow it, and if it is possible. Vwahla! Eeopa: An ice moon of Gliese-581b. Gliese 581c: ~1.5 the size of Earth (Kerbin, because I do 1/10th scale) A super Venus with an extrememly thick atmosphere. Fun! -Glacier: A new moon of Gliese-581c. Glacier is an icy world with huge canyons. Whilst thought to be ice, it is actually carbon dioxide. Gliese 581d: Planet with the right size for being habitable, and the right atmosphere, but a barren desert. Some day I will make it a planet like Kerbin or Earth. Gliese 581e: 1.7 times as massive planet as Earth. Very close to Gliese 581 (Star,) so it has no moons nor a sufficient atmosphere. It is tidally locked and one side is cold. The atmosphere is pretty thin, also. The temperature is JUST right, though. -Oceanus: A moon first thought to be Laythe, this moon of Gliese-581e is completely covered in oceans. In fact, it rotates so quickly if you were to land on the surface, you would be pulled off. So go to the poles! Nixe: First moon of Gliese 581d, with 1/2 the radius of Gliese-581d and 37 percent the mass. 8 mil a way. And various other moons planned. Should I add more celestial bodies to this, make expansion packs, or just improve current bodies? (I accidentaly made the current poll go forever...) -Added to my LibraCORE -Gliese-581 (star) Now is red with a bright corona, just like the real one.
  9. The Gliese-581 System! Files got deleted, will be working on this. Crap. Download: (Beta) This mod adds a new solar system (right now, it technically orbits Kerbol. Whenever I finish this mod, I might to get it slipped into Kerbal Galactic) Gliese-581 is a real solar system, and I thought it was pretty cool and I wanted to learn how to use Kopernicus before moving on to my Sonne System. (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/137178-The-Sonne-System) Requires LibraCORE http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/137791-LibraCORE
  10. More trouble with Jupiter. Apparently it doesn't identify as a real planet, so you can't orbit it. Even with Hyperedit you just fly rigt by; it has no SOI. Also, crashing into it does nothing and then you go through the other side.
  11. If anyone knows anybody (themselves) or any references to help with 1.0 planet making, please suggest them! Like I said before, I suck at this and any help is valued greatly. Thank you!
  12. Drafts for Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter. Testing Jupiter aerodynamics. I need to fix the green ring. Mercury. It bacically turns into a copy of Tylo (Or Mun, depending on the template) up close! Also, the orbital speed is something like 7000 meters/second, which is obviously screwed up since it should be alike Moho's. Venus testing. Again, once up close it turns into a Duna/Laythe clone (Depending on which template I am using, now I am using Laythe) and the atmosphere is insufficient, unlike the 90/1 ratio to Kerbin's atmosphere it should have. So fun! I will figure it out some time.
  13. I know that a version of E.V.E. Adds auroras, so maybe once I get the 'prototype' planets done I could take the E.V.E and make auoras for Jupiter and Saturn and such.
  14. Uh, most likely Kerbin is getting destroyed/is destroyed and they are sending a team of astronauts to find a habitable world. It is going to be loosely based on Interstellar.
  15. [1.1.0] The Sonne System: A developing Kopernicus mod for KSP The Sonne System is a planet mod that is being developed for Kerbal Space Program. This mod IS NOT a copy of RSS. This adds an entirely new planet system as well as the Kerbol System, and it is still 1/10th scale, so the parts are normal. Red: Not started. Orange: Buggy and/or just start Yellow: Prototype done. Green: Mostly finished. Dark Green: Completely done. Sonne: The Sun of our solar system. Mercury: You should know. Venus: You should also know, 90 PSI, 90 times that of Kerbin. You don't need parachutes, because you aren't coming back and near the surface you cant turn and heat is emense. Without some OP ballon mod, you literally cannot get of venus. Earth: You know... I hope, at least. Need oceans. Moon: you know. Mars: You know. Phobos: Teeeny asteroid moon of Mars. Deimos: Teenerer asteroid moon of Mars. Ceres: A small dwarf planet in the asteroid belt. Much smaller than Dres, by the way. Like- Ceres is almost as small as Gilly. Yeah, it is 1/10th scale of normal because normal scale is annoying, am I right? Heh... eh... uhm... *awkward silence*
  16. Kerbals were created on Kerbin. They weren't meant to die there. This is a new series I am creating that will be started once I am done with my Kopernicus "Sonne System Alpha" (if it ever gets done, that is. I kinda suck at making mods.)
  17. Mun Log: Day 67 The new MAV came today, meaning it is also the day to leave for Kerbin. Poor moonbase. Project Ara is being cancelled, and efforts to go interplanetary are arising. Woot woot! Well, it is all fun in games until I am back on Kerbin. Then I am just another worthless Kerbal trying to get a good job. Well, maybe I could do some more missions, but after this? I don't really know. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The first thing that happened was we lifted off in the MAV. We orbited at 75,000 Meters, and pushed to Kerbin out of the Mun's orbit. Once in orbit around Kerbin, we docked to the inflatable station, grabbed the reentry vehicle, which I call an RV. Then, we came home. So now, writing this, it has been 114 days since Jessica and I landed on the Mun, and we have traveled our seperate ways. But I am writing this from the astronaut complex- because I will be in the upcoming mission DUNDRA 2, not too far away. Score!!!
  18. It would be awesome if this could be a whole entire different solar system you could travel to, instead of replacing it. Or is there a way to easily do that with the config??
  19. Mun Log: Day 66 Usually Jessica Kerman does the paperwork, but apparently she's "sick". I am not even sick, but whatever. Now I am doing the KTS, Komputer Training System for spaceflight and aerodynamics. Fun. "What is the maximum apogee for the Ara 2 command vessle?" a) 100 Meters 2,000,000,000 Meters c) 3.6 Kilometers d) 312.6 Kilometers You see? Obviously not 100 meters, 2 billion meters, or 3600 meters. So D works, I think. Then I did the test and got this question wrong... what? Ara 2 was a 3.75 booster and 2.5 Command module rocket that sent up to three people into space and/or payload. Yeah, it is 100 meters.
  20. Yeah, The Dunutian is cool. Both stories inspired by the Martian.
  21. Mun Journal: Day 65 I broke the carbon scrubbers. This isn't good. Ok, well They were broken. I kind of fixed them now. The first thing that happened was I needed tubing for my greenhouse. What had a whole reel of extra plastic tubing? That's right, the Carbon Dioxide-Scrubber. If you didn't know, the Carbon Dioxide Scrubbers take Carbon Dioxide out of the air, because it can be posionous. Well, I there was a whole circular tubing of plastic, about 5 mm in diameter. So I clipped it at one end, and cut at the other. I attatched the two pieces, so instead of a long reel of plastic tubing, it was now just a straight line going up from down. Jessica was reading her book, The Kerbal Love. I brought the tubing to the greenhouse to create a constant stream of water- just enough for the plants to grow but not enough to go overboard. Another thing I wanted to do today was bury the pieces of the command pod that Mark L. died in, and put up a grave. I exited the greenhouse and took the rover to the destroyed pod sight, and grabbed my shovel. The whole ordeal took about four hours, and by then all of the pieces were buried. I shaked off my hands and threw the shovel on the back of the rover, and I was off. I parked the rover at the hab when Jessica Kerman commed in through the helmet. "Johannes! The CO2 levels are at critical levels, I need your help!" Jessica hollared. Oh no. I piled out and threw the panel off of the CO2 Scrubber, and flipped open the log book to parts. This thing was about three centimeters in diameter, and the size of my hand. I flipped through, thousands of parts. Aha- the Carbon Dioxide fluid accelerator tubing... oh. Sounds a lot more important now. Mun Journal: Day 65 (Log 2) I ran to the greenhouse and crawled in through the command airlock, sliding in through the tunnes and grabbed the plant tubing. I guess it was pretty important, because the carbon dioxide was now at three percent. I joined Jessica and told her to check the oxygenerator, because I didn't want her knowing that I broke the scrubber. Quickly, I used a clamp to seal the tubing on to each side of the tubing together. Sure enough, the CO2 levels lowed. Ta-da!
  22. Mun Journal: Day 64 Now that KSC is contacted, for a while, and we're back, they won't shutup. Sometimes I like being alone. Anyways, we have a greenhouse. Now they are saying, "Put these seeds there, and those seeds here." And it is just starting to get annoying. Like this picture that I took of me at the greenhouse. To the left are Kerberagus and Kelery, and to the right is Krass and Klettuce. Of course, the greenhouse is reused from when Jebediah, Valentina, Bill and Bob trained with it. I had Jessica snap a picture of me inside the greenhouse.
  23. Mun Journal: Day 13 Holly Kerbal toes! She's alive! I was sleeping when I heard a knock at the door. At first I thought I was crazy, and I awoke to her helmet at the porthole in the door. I instantly threw on my EVA suit and instantly the heat came on... Ahhhh... heat. "Cabin depressurize" the auto systems announced. Jessica ran in and closed to door, turning on the pressurizer. Jessica threw off her helmet and instantly got chilled. "Oh gosh, what temperature is it in here?" She fell down and shrivled up. "Well, the hab kind of flipped apart and it broke the heater. I have a pile of stuff if you want to hide in that..." Mun Journal: Day 14 Today is the big day. We have prepped the rover, now we are going to go to Muna II. I won’t be writing a log until we get then, andvice versa until we get back, because I need all the time I can to get there. This will take a long… long time. And a lot of flipping and fixing. But hey, then we can tell KSC that we’re alive! Mun Journal: Day 38 Yeah this is horrible. We just arrived, and currently Jessica is fixing the rover. It was flipped alright- and it is tiny. Almost smaller than I am. She’s ripping it in half now… just waiting for KSC. [Flight Com][Muna 2] MISSION CONTROL DO YOU READ ME [Flight Com][KSC] THIS IS KIRCH KERMAN. READING LOUD AND CLEAR [Flight Com][KSC] This is Eugene Kerman. Reading, get off Kirch. Also, do [Command Input: CAPS OFF] for no caps lock. [Flight Com][Muna 2] IT DOESN’T WORK ON HERE. SEND SUPPLIES! WE NEED HELP! [Flight Com][Muna 2][image] OUR CAMERA GOT SOLAR FLARED [Flight Com][Muna 2] No problem. Supplies will be sent out shortly, Kerbin is dipping below. [Alert][Muna 2] LOS Mun Journal: Day 61 We are back and holly crap there is a lot of stuff here. But I am back home. Home sweet home, as much as the Mun can be home. Not a cramped rover.
