KSP Interstellar Extended Continued Development Thread

Please do! I tried searching this thread, but there is so much discussion of the magnetic nozzle that the results I was looking for must have been diluted beyond recognition. -
KSP Interstellar Extended Continued Development Thread

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong, I can't seem to get the magnetic nozzle engine to work. Screen shot below shows the setup I am using. Thank you! -
So after doing some more testing it appears my solar panels are charging the batteries. I have two of the largest stock solar panels on my ship in Jool's SOI and they're generating 0.63 charge per second (each) but my remotetech antennas are draining at a rate of ~5 charge per second. Does that 0.63 charge per second figure seem reasonable?

So I'm have a strange bug, which may not actually be a bug, but I can't figure out what is causing it. I have a probe in Jool's SOI with two large solar panels whose batteries will only discharge, not charge. I'm thinking this has something to do with either KSP Interstellar mod (the latest Freethinker version) or Outer Planets mod. I know that the Outer Planets mod by default has a CFG file that changes the solar panel effectiveness curve, and this file was in place when the vessel entered Jool's SOI, but I have since deleted it, shouldn't that go back to the default solar panel curve? Do I need to do something else?

Can we get this added to the first page? I didn't see this until just now and it caused some confusion (mostly my fault).

From the Space Center Scenery (where you are when you first load a game) you need to use Alt+RShift+N to get the debug menu to work (for Linux). -
The Linux Thread!

Hmm, I think that's just the image hosting or something, the graphics settings in KSP are set exactly to my monitor's native resolution. -

Thanks for the help micha! I checked my KSP graphics settings and textures are set for full resolution. Regarding the latest drivers, I am running Ubuntu 14.10 and have an AMD Radeon HD5970 graphics card. I have added the xorg-edgers PPA, is that a good repository to get the latest AMD graphics? How do I go about installing the drivers from this repository? Thank you! -

Guys, I'm having a couple GUI issues with my fresh KSP 64-bit Linux install. Note that these issues are persistant after re-installing and happen modded or unmodded. Firstly, the thumbnails for researchable parts in the R&D building are blurry, see screenshot below: Next, I'm having a couple issues in the tracking station: 1) The buttons to filter what is shown (flags, landers, vessels, etc.) are only showing as unlabled numbers 2) The terminate vessel button is blurry 3) The circles that represents the planets on their orbits are blurry 4) The two buttons on the right side of the screen are glitched See screenshot: Any help with these issues would be much appreciated. Also, I apologize for the large images, I'm not sure how to make them clickable thumbnails. -
So I just installed mono and CKAN on my Ubuntu OS. Only problem I'm having is CKAN doesn't automatically find my KSP install, and I can't browse to the ".local" folder in the CKAN GUI (it doesn't show up at all). How do I point CKAN to my KSP install which is through steam. Additionally, once I have the first part figured out, am I supposed to point CKAN to the "Kerbal Space Program" folder or to a different folder within? EDIT: Incase anyone else is running into the same problem, I figured this out with a little workaround. I created a sym-link to the KSP directory on my desktop using the following command in Terminal: sudo ln -s /home/USERNAME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/"Kerbal Space Program"/ /home/USERNAME/Desktop Where USERNAME is replaced with your appropriate username. When launching CKAN you simply need to point it to this sym-link on your desktop. Note that you cannot delete this sym-link for this trick to continue to work.

Hello all, I was wondering if there was a way to increase the number of city lights? I am running EVE with the Renaissance Pack by Proot but would like some more city lights (right now they're very dim and scarce). The Alt+N GUI seems to only have settings for the cloud layers. I've tried searching this thread but couldn't find an answer. Any help is appreciated.
