  1. I know, but I just want them to be smaller for missions that involve sending certain experiments to other worlds and to certain orbits.
  2. Is their a config for making the science experiments tweakscaleable. (procedural parts/fairings works w/ tweakscale if you install them together at the same time - just so you guys know.)
  3. HOW DID YOU LAND THAT THING?! Did you continuously burn, or what? (never have seen such a craft land on the mun)
  4. Come to think of this mission, do you think that KSP should have stock magnetometer science experiments? (22:22)
  5. Well, go to NASA's main site and watch the launch of the new MMS spacecraft! launch will occur at 10:44pm EST and will launch from Cape Canaveral, Florida atop of an Atlas V launch Vehicle.
  6. Is it okay to have Remote Tech installed for this?
  7. Considering that we don't know too much about our place in space, I guess that there MAY BE something out there, but it probably won't collide with the Earth and instead will be in a near circular orbit (the gravity of all masses in the solar system would have little effect on something that is a couple thousand AU away), so therefore we won't know until we have the strong technology of a highly advanced telescope. But until then we will only make assumptions and guesses.
  8. How about remote tech compatible communication dishes, and some solar panels that look like these: Sirius Satellite In a broader scope, how about a pack dedicated entirely to solar panels based of of real design (complex ones, like Cloudsat's, Optus C's, and the Sirius panels), as well as remote tech compatible dishes that have a long ranges and some that are omnidirectional. Thanks for the considerations, Astrofox
  9. Nicholander, I was wondering about an analog for the comet 67p, since Zem-Po has an orbit that is unlike that of 67p, so will you consider on adding an analog (down to the overall shape and orbital velocity, which around 67p is only 1m/s^2, also the 6.7 year orbital period (if it goes past Jool just cut it to about 3.5 years).)?
  10. FOUND THE PROBLEM Ok, I found out how to sort of fix it, but now it orbits too slow (slower than that of Moho and Eve). I want the orbit to sweep just outside of Duna's orbit, but closer than Eve's. - - - Updated - - - I also found that the Semi-major Axis is ~ 9900000256 meters (I think) and eccentricity is 0.8, inclination is 1.75 degrees. - - - Updated - - - I could not find the Apoapsis and Periapsis, but I hope this information will suffice. (also LAN is 120) Thanks, Astrofox Here is the config I have: @Kopernicus { Body { name = 67K flightGlobalsIndex = 2000 Template { name = Moho } Properties { description = Some sort of comet, I believe. radius = 4200 mass = 2.0700853e+16 geeASL = 0.0005 } Orbit { referenceBody = Sun color = 0.3,0.6,0.6,1 inclination = 1.76 eccentricity = 0.6 semiMajorAxis = 48000000000 longitudeOfAscendingNode = 0 argumentOfPeriapsis = 120 meanAnomalyAtEpoch = 0 epoch = 0 } ScaledVersion { Material { texture = Kopernicus/Textures/MiniWorlds/67K_color normals = Kopernicus/Textures/MiniWorlds/67K_normal } } } and textures Are Here FOUND THE PROBLEM
  11. I have a small problem with the orbital period of a small celestial body I've been working on; its orbital period is faster than that of Moho's, and I need it to be in synch with Eve's orbit. Any suggestions as to how I fix it?
  12. Sorry for bringing this up again, but maybe you should reconfigure the mod to work with kopernicustech, which is still working, so therefore you won't have a mod that has not been updated since 0.24 ksp.
  13. So, I loaded up KSP, and found that when I launched a vehicle, orbit velocity was 0m/s, and surface was 174.6m/s, when I went to the VAB to load up another craft to launch it, it kinda worked, but when the same thing happened, so I decide to use Hyperedit. When I did, i think that fixed the problem, but when I timewarped, the monopropellant went and it said in the bottom that the crew was crazy, so what is the mod that did that, or a hack, OR SOMETHING PLEASE HELP! Here is a picture for my proof: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pq39l4mvh7fg7sj/BROKEN.png?dl=0 please, please HALP!
  14. Well, they would be transit cameras, and planets will not be visible (maybe a simple texture for them, but no exploration). Also stellar oscillation cameras to detect the movement of the planet, and infrared cameras to scan the temp. of said worlds. Take Exoplanetsat in mind, as well as Kepler, Corot, and Spitzer.
  15. So, I was wondering if someone could create a new engine that runs off of a fair, but stockalike, amount of electricity, and it has to run off of only EC, and no conversions. So, will anybody create such an amazing object; well, I've requested... Anyway thanks to those who help with such a project.
  16. I agree with this Idea, considering that I want to create a plugin and some parts for hunting ksp Extrasolar planets, like that of Kepler, or smaller ones that are about 10cm^3, and yes, I want to be able to randomly generate "systems" that will then create sky biomes and when you point a telescope at them, then do science, there will be a science random science experiment for each.
  17. The wiki quotes that potatus will rotate at a high velocity, stretching it into an oblate spheroid; so will you do exactly that?
  18. Will anyone take over this mod from Planetfactory and re-create it for Kopernicus, Thanks, Astrofox
  19. How do you create oceans for planets, I've tried, but it does not work. Please help, Thanks, Astrofox
  20. Does anyone have the code to create a new planet, as well as a detailed video tutorial on this? If so, GREAT! Thanks for helping, Astrofox
  21. Instead of a super Moho, why not something that looks like Kepler 10b, with an entire ocean of lava on the sunward side (that is, if it is even possible to add an ocean to a world).
  22. We already have Laythe, but that is a moon, so I feel as if instead of a "habitable" world we instead have an analog that looks like that of Kepler-10b, with 100% more lakes of lava of course.
  23. If your going to create biomes for Rainboros, you may as well have them for the moon's colors .
