  1. woooow really feeling the 1.7.3 hype!!! this is awesome Andrew thank you for your work!
  2. Hey guys! hope everyone's having a great weekend! I was looking at SP Engines and noticed all Engine classes have Int/Skin max temp values at 673K - I'm assuming this is wrong in my install? Posting here as it might be an RO-config-related issue, but happy to take the question over at @soundnfury's SP Engines thread. Thanks in advance!
  3. hi @AloE - I'm very interested in the aforementioned idea of playing with RVE64k for Earth enhancements but keeping RSSVE for other System's bodies; would you mind sharing your updated RSSVE CFG? thanks in advance! EDIT: or if you have some time available maybe teach a man to fish instead? Did you just comment out all lines that read Earth/Kerbin? How could I go about tweaking my RSSVE CFG's as you did?
  4. I don't play stock KSP but this is remarkable! Looks great!
  5. @Hungry_Dragon265, although I concur with @Starwaster & @raidernick, I will provide one last-resort piece of advice that might put this behind you. Please follow these steps. Do nothing more, nothing less. You will be the only one judging whether you followed these steps correctly, so do it consciously. The following steps assume you want to use KSP version 1.7.3, the lastest for which RO is available, and Real Solar System (if this is not the case, disregard Step # 6 and move straight to # 7). 1- Find the path to the folder Steam downloads games in your computer; 2- Find the KSP folder, delete it; 3- Steam > Library > KSP > Right Click, Properties > "Betas" tab > Select 1.7.3 KSP on the Dropdown menu > Close > Install the game 4- Download CKAN (https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/releases) > Put the downloaded CKAN.exe file in your KSP folder (path should be "...\KSP\CKAN.exe") 5- Start CKAN > Click "Yes" to all pop-ups 6- Within CKAN's mod list, find & select Real Solar System, click "Apply Changes". Suggestions & Recommendations will appear before installing: de-select Realism Overhaul (i.e. Don't install it yet). Click "Continue". 7- After these mods' installation, within CKAN's mod list, find & select Realism Overhaul. Suggestions & Recommendations will appear before installing: select whatever mods you want. Click "Continue". 8- After this installation, close CKAN. 9- Run the game. Hopefully this works for you.
  6. thanks for the new release guys!!!!! awesome work!
  7. well today's your lucky day isnt it @Lilienthal???? because there is indeed a working RP-1 version for KSP 1.6.1 - see the following link for installation instructions: https://github.com/KSP-RO/RP-0/wiki/RO-&-RP-1-Installation-for-1.6.1
  8. Correct - the aforementioned was a KSP 1.3.1 install with Realism Overhaul, RP-0 & Real Solar System (plus dependencies, suggested and recommended mods). All mods were installed via CKAN; after that, vessel files were copied over, loaded into the new installation, placed throghout the solar system via Hyper Edit, and finally Principia was installed on top. No issues whatsoever in this procedure.
  9. @AloE, not exactly what you intend to do, but I had a similar situation going on when I originally discovered Principia. I had a pretty advanced savegame with many satellite relays, in-orbit stations, etc. I wanted to keep these. I ended up creating a fresh install without Principia, loading up all vessels in a new savegame, Hyper-editing them to their appropriate orbits, and finally installing Principia on top of this install after every ship was in place. In your case, you could Hyper-edit them to orbit and then use the mod's Ship Lander functionality. I had no trouble whatsoever using the aforementioned method, however please note there were no landed vessels involved in the exercise.
  10. @pingopete, are you doing something in terms of skybox? I think an ultra-res skybox could really give it a realism bump by turning those pixelated blobs into sharp bright dots!
  11. pete this is mindblowing, I'm in awe!!! im currently playing 1.6.1 but when RO/RSS and the works are ready for 1.7.3 I will definitely give this a try!!! thank you for sharing your work with us!!!
  12. thanks! the sleeping scenario was to frame the question in not-so-dire terms (i.e. everyone's dead) so yeah - my intent was to tackle a return home without land aid - what would happen if they managed to hit land? (obviously the crew would have no chance if they landed on the ocean) i'd say this one is an interrogative grammatical structure with a request for information, as oppossed to commonly referred-to rethorical questions - I hope this answers your... question.
  13. Say everyone was asleep... very asleep here on Earth and a crew from the ISS needed to get back down. They have time, a return vehicle, fuel & consumables. Can they make it back home safely without any contact whatsoever to mission control / operators?
  14. awesome update @eggrobin!!! looking forward to using the new tool (and humbly awaiting documentation to fully grasp all the information it provides)! thanks for your work!
  15. Hi @Lisias! Hope you are having a great day today! Firstly let me thank you for your hard work taking on the maintenance of the mod & your efforts in trying to sort out these corruptions and other errors! Sadly, the purpose of my writing is to report & ask for help in solving 1 Fatal Error on my new, fresh install. I had several Fatal Errors but managed to get it down to just 1, which I cannot eliminate. My install is a fresh 1.6.1 with Realism Overhaul, Real Solar System and their dependencies - nothing more. I have uploaded logs and installed mods here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/19yaf0tg1n7av06/KSP 1.6.1 TS Fatal Error.rar?dl=0 I do not seem to have the output_log.txt and KSP.txt files. I am including the first 2 lines of the **FATAL** error below: Any help you could provide will be greatly appreciated! Please do let me know if there's anything I can do to help pinpoint the culprit! Thanks in advance!
  16. i'll try it and let you know!! thanks a bunch!!!!
  17. hi! this sounds so great, I have been struggling with the bumpy runway for years now! what KSP versions does the mod support? thanks in advance!
  18. I fully got the HL2 reference, in reality I was referring to the "Aleph Universe" you got there quoted in your location https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Aleph_(short_story) Anyhow, thanks for the mod disclaimer! Will follow the development
  19. I have been wanting/waiting for this for a long time! Many many thanks for this, will try it out as soon as I get some time! also, is that a reference to J.L.Borges?
  20. great news!! congratulations on the new release! many thanks for your work!!!
  21. I have a quick one guys! I'm playing on 1.3.1 with RP1 and I can't seem to be able to create a Procedural Trank holding Hydrogen (gaseous form) - tried with regular & SM tanks to no avail
