I would like to also ask if your gear is mismatched level wise. I get the bouncy boom of death IF there is too much difference in wheel heights. Try to keep them relatively level to each other on the ground. 2 of these screenshots are of the landing gear, I got a boom when I loaded the plane with the medium gear, but no boom when it loads with the large. What this says to me is that the closer you have the wheels to being the same height, the less likely of a boom happening. The other 3 screenshots are of the stupidly OP nacelles I am trying to get working correctly. -

The C parts are probably what you are looking for. Unfortunately development on the mod has ceased until september and i dont know what K.Yeon's plans are for it. At present i am resurrecting old parts and incorporating them into future community updates. As for CKAN i have never used it, to me it seems like just another place to upload the mod to each time i update it. -

Ok guys i am needing some help with the old pod engines. Both are majorly overpowered and 1 has no exhaust effects. What i am wanting to do it turn one into a rapier style engine and balance out the other (arie). Is anyone able to help me or point me to someone who can? -

I have had overheating issues myself so I might look into increasing their thermal tolerances slightly. As for mk3 adapters you will have to wait until september when the mod author returns to active development, I am not a modder and dont have the skills to make it happen. -

At this stage there is no plan or intent to put the mod on ckan, k.yeon might do that when he returns but at this point there are other priorities higher on the list. The original bays for the now B class parts had no fuel capacity at all. That being said i have them and hope to try to add them (with no fuel capacity) in the next version. -

Yeah I ended up finding the duplicate and nipped it in the butt! I am currently trying to work out what to do with the old engine pods in the sense of balancing etc. the old KY engine has no fx and is grossly overpowered, I wouldn't mind trying to see if I can change it into a RAPIER style engine, and the original ARIE engine had the same model so it just needs to be balanced. @Deimos Rast Thank you and you are right, Originally the purpose of what @Winchester and myself were doing was to ensure OPT was up to date and functional in 1.1, HOWEVER we choose to go beyond that and roll in old parts that had been retired/scrapped. This meant parts had to be renamed etc. @siliconworm Your Ships appear to be based on the 1.7/1.8Test1 version of the mod, The current 1.8.1.1 version was derived from the 1.8Test4 version. It is unfortunate that your ships have been lost to the kraken of change but hopefully this is the last it will rear its ugly head, unless the mod author decides to scrap parts again......... -

i am sorry that you have lost your ships, but unfortunately a lot of changes had to be made to neaten up the mod as well as add in older parts. I am hoping that moving forward no further radical changes need to be made. And to be honest, This has happened before in the past when K.Yeon retired parts and such, Hence why we are trying to Neaten it all up and have the older scrapped parts. " The part names are wrong! The part root points are wrong! The part sizes are wrong! The part functions are wrong! And the part collision boxes are wrong! Everything is now mismatched from 1.7 to 1.8! " Please also remember, those of us who are working on this project are NOT modders, we can do NOTHING as far as anything to do with the models are concerned which I believe Part Root Points and Collision Boxes are part of. -

Not needed at this stage, currently I am only maintaining the mod and rolling in older parts from earlier packs. works fine for me, just tested it. is your IFS and FS up to date? Some new goodies coming in the next update (1.8.1.2) Thanks to @Deimos Rast I now have versions 1.3, 1.4,1.4.9,1.4.9Repack,1.5, 1.6 and 1.6.9.1 so am sorting the parts and working out which to add, but i promise you that the old pod style engines are making a return, just need to rebalance them and the MK3 Shuttle nose will have its correct model again. On a secondary not having an issue which could be an obvious fix, where I put on the latest ARIE engines on my test craft in the SPH but the second I am on the runway they revert models back to the old 2 part ARIEs....... The other issue is I am seeing an overlay of the J cockpit interior in the SPH without any part loaded for it, and flight mode has NO IVA's. -

Ignore links on recent pages. Go straight to spacedock. Yes it is compatible with 1.1.2, i am still ironing out bugs and rolling in old parts. Active development is halted until september when K.Yeon returns from his overseas work. I am just keeping it functioning until then. -

Duuuuuude meeesa wanting those old versions any way i can get a copy so i can see what i can roll into the next update? Not every part has been confirmed 100% functional but yes you need firespitter. -

I am not a modder, and as such I don't have the knowledge to work with the models and such. What I am doing is just keeping the mod up to date compatability wise until september when @K.Yeon comes back to active development. If you want to tell me how to use github I will gladly put it there for such things but I have never used it before beyond downloading from it. From memory the L Cargo Tail was never completed by the mod author, it is something I am considering removing anyway. When @Winchester renamed/edited things to make the old legacy parts usable he left the directory structure as it was when the author first did it, that being said I think its a good idea and will see if I can make the folder structure more logical. We decided to keep the A parts as they can still have some degree of usability. If you can tell me HOW to get some of this done I will get it done asap and upload a new version. Radial SABRE from the Hangar Mod. Will look into the other issue. -

Do you have an account on Spacedock? It appears I can add you as an author which will allow you to also edit the spacedock part of the mod in addition to myself. And now for the ISC Galactic Sabretooth. Same basic flight profile as the Broad Arrow, but has the addition that it can land on the mun, and self refuel thanks to the onboard miners and convertotrons. Has 2 nuclear reactors but they seem to shut down quickly if you run them higher than 2% I did put radiators on but that seems to do nothing. Has retro engines installed which should help shed excess oxidiser on reentry as well as slow you down. KerbalX Download. -

The A cargo bay tail does have its own model, but to be honest no point in including it anyway for the fact it doesn't open. If someone has the skills and wants to work on the IVA's then please send me a pm and I will pass on what @K.Yeon has said to me. I am currently uploading the 1.8 Test 6 onto spacedock. -

I have tweaked a couple of the J parts to allow surface attachment, its rudimentary and only on the J fuel tank, I have also written a CLS patch and have uploaded the OPT 1.8 Unofficial Test Release 6 -

They always worked for me kinda. They turn, they get traction but honestly their turning arc is too low in my opinion so i dont use them anymore, i just move around on the mun with rcs now. @Nils277 can you make the wheels attachable in mirror symmetry? -

Introducing the ISC Broad Arrow. Can take off from KSC and land on the MUN with some fuel to spare, no issue if you put a miner/ISRU package in the main cargo bay. Forward cargo bay is more of a service bay, contains KIS connector, Reactor and batteries. All bays open ventrally. Drop tanks contain LF and auto drop once empty. I fly with Mechjeb, so set your ascent path to 15%, Grav turn start at 2km and limit AoA to 10 degrees, aim for a 120km apoapsis, once you hit about 50/55km disengage MJ ascent guidance and change to maneuver planner for your hohmann transfer to the mun. Once in Munar orbit, switch control to the docking port, disengage the SABREs and engage the VTOL engines. MJ landing guidance works fine as the ship is relatively balanced and has sufficient control authority from a bunch of Mk2 Advanced SAS. You should have about 2k Ox left in the tanks when you land. Happy flying folks. SPECIAL NOTE: Run all engines on take off but don't expect to nose up until AFTER you run out of runway and she is SLOW to nose up, but once you have her nose up and a positive AoA you are fine to switch on MJ Ascent Guidance.
