Windows 8.1 64x , KSP 1.0 When using the small fixed landing gear LY-01 and steerable landing gear LY-05 on an airplane in the SPH, the engineer's report warns :"Landing missing !" I was able to reproduce this bug every time i tried it. (in sanbox, don't know about career) Steps for reproduction : -go to SPH -create any airplane -attach the landing gear mentioned above -check the engineer's report Picture : players discovering the new Engineer's report feature might find this somehow... derpy.

Re-entry : It _seems_ to be a good idea to tilt your capsule apollo style while re-entering the atmosphere to fine tune your landing site location. Lifting bodies are now modeled ingame ! (what i suggested has nothing to do with the re-entry bugs everyone seems to have, its just a way to land a spacecraft that already re enters fine)

Trainings work for me too, although the long-promised interplanetary travel training isnt here. yeah, and also when you get new "contract accomplished" messages , the messages button expands and hides the resources button. OCD inducing too huh ? (the thing is, it would/it used to fit when the buttons were in the previous order because the contracts button is thinner.) -
i have a ton of things to criticize about 1.0 , but here i just HAVE TO disagree. I think that Porkjet dis a fantastic job with the wet wings. They look awesome on mk3 parts.

actually i think that the fairings DO weigh something depending on their size, but ALL the mass is contained in the base ! having a smaller fairing is better, lighter, but once you jettison it the base stays in place, ALONG WITH THE MASS

Those are just crazy OP. The fact that opening those at 2500m/s can solve the reentey bug annoys me even more than the reentry bug itself. It is 100% counter intuitive. A new player (or even an experienced player btw!!!!) will never be thinking "oh, my capsule is all burning and covered in plasma, time to open the chutes" HOW dis this pass through experimentals ? It literally is the first thing you do when you start a career game ! EDIT : Yes, chutes also never ripped off in 0.90.0 , but they didnt stop you from 2500m/s to 300m/s in 2 seconds, leaving you at a dead stop at 18000km either.

Everyone is talking about the LFO engines nerfs (i understand why ) but what concerned me most of all while playing was the SRBs ! did those get completely trashed ? I used the "hammer" (better start using those neat nicknames) quite a few times and noticed its burn time is crazy low ! Is it just me ? (I soon as i have time to play the game again i will time it) And what about the BACC ? It wasnt great already, but now its thrust is nearly identical to the "hammer"´s one... I dont understand why those were nerfed along with the LFO engines(48-7S never forget). If the LFOs get nerfed, arent we supposed to use the SRBs to lift the first stages ? --> well they got thrashed too... Somebody please tell me i'm mistaken and its just my impressions

i feel like the nuke was one of the engines that most needed a nerf (you guessed right il also thinking about the 48-7S ) but that it got buffed instead : it has the same vac ISP while every other engine had it lowered. Nerf all but one and you will buff the one ! W.H.Y ?

Those nerfs though !! the beloved 909 really went down... i know it has 60kN max thrust now, but That is not really rebalancing it since it is often used in clusters, power wasnt an issue anyway... It wasnt good at 1 thing : efficiency. Now it is just useless. I'll just keep using it cuz its the only 1.25m 2nd stage engine that is left EDIT : And i complain about FPS developers nerfing guns into oblivion and buffing the crazy OP ones haha guess the same happens with LFO engines

No, it doesnt ! Activate it in space just before re entry, fall into the atmosphere, and as soon as it goes off (around 21Km iirc), not even fully deployed, the chute doesnt burn, doesnt tear apart, you get crazy g´s and BOOM you're a going at 300m/s at 18Km alt. It just negates the re-entry ! (i can only talk for LKO so far.)

I also got the flipping problem when having like a Science Jr under the pod. However this did not happen with a simple capsule. A quick workaround is to open your chute in space, or in the upper atmosphere. It will keep you straight. By the way, chutes are CRAAAAAZYYYY OP ! when doing this trick you slow down from suborbital speeds to 340m/s in like 2 secs (crazy g force) when the chute isnt even fully deployed ! I found myself falling at 100m/s while i still was at 18000m !!! The parachute doesn't even rip the ship off or tear down ! BTW ! (and this is awesome) you can pitch up or down to tilt the capsule to create a lifting body effect (just like Apollo did) and actually either glide or dive into the atmosphere ! i found (or is it just an impression ?) that you really can change your trajectory that way. (although i love 1.0 right now, i strongly feel that this should be called .95 beta... )

Also, when re-entering, if you have a parachute-pod-scienceJr-heatshield (a very simple craft), it will very likely tip over and burn ... this is difficult, i like it

Changing the res to 1280 x1024 will do the trick, but the "loading" icon is half out of the screen. And this resolution is WAY too high for my screen, everything looks awful with it. EDIT : just saw your 2nd post. Stuff is wrong with any of the resolutions available...
