  1. Looks nice! But the seating seems awkward, I mean the only kerbals who are near the instruments are upside-down thus it makes flying the thing from inside quite confusing, it's like looking at a computer screen upside down! I'd still go for what SnowWhite showed us.
  2. *Bursts into uncontrollable laughter* Agh! And I thought it was some sort of magnetic table, or an upside-down doormat! *continues laughing uncontrollably* Ow, my sides! Man, I needed a good laugh today!
  3. Yup, I agree. Current IVA is just too darn cramped! I'm all for what SnowWhite brought up!
  4. Oh, I have something much more sci-fi in mind, don't you worry. EDIT: Nice comment to be my 100th post.
  5. Only now I realize all this PPTS hype. It'd be the perfect alternative to stock's rather ugly CM (I never even use the stock pod because of it, too ugly to look at and too mainstream plus it's IVA looks like it was cobbled together in a junkyard, even with Ven's revamp it fails to find use in my designs). Point is I've accumulated quite a few design ideas I could do with a pod like PPTS.
  6. Ohhh! I like that capsule! Yes please. For crying out loud let it stay! It having no chin gives it more freedom to go creative crazy and since it's a new capsule in real life too there's just no excuse for it not to have over 4 RPM screens!
  7. I'm not much into rocketry but I gotta say that I'm starting to really see the charm of those what-might-have-been russian crafts. Just read the other day about the LOK and Zond on the wiki and now I saw this. Russian spacecraft look so much like 50's cars and I love the look of those cars from the 40-50's! Heh, now why didn't I mention this the first time I posted here? Tantares is like a 50's car parts galore!
  8. Feh, well. Just did some testing. First I removed both KJR and added original TKS decoupler config back, nothing at all, then re-added KJR, nothing, tried my ship as it used to be as a draft, nothing. I pretty much retraced all of my steps, nothing, nothing at all. It's as if I was literally pulled into a twilight zone/another dimension and only I had the experience and been rambling about nothing at all when in fact something did go on. Ugh, at this point I'll call it a close one-time encounter with the Kraken itself and call it day, what a mind frell.
  9. Played around with IVAs? If you mean have I edited them then no, that I have not done. Nice launchpad side-project thing by the way! Looks like a place I'd launch my unknown flying ships (those Kerbal corporations must not know know what I'm up to!). I'd use your launchpad over stock's any day!
  10. Thanks. Yup, at first I couldn't figure out what was making my ship/game go haywire at about 6000 meters. Even went at snails pace to there but once I hit that 6000-6500 meter mark the camera focused somewhere on the bottom together with CoM. Started picking my ship apart one by one and testing it until I narrowed it down to the separator. I'm not exactly sure if I fixed it with removing the separation ability from it or is the fact that I decided to clip those main engine support beams a bit into the Dawn module too but I'm 100% sure something's up with the separator part when too much stuff is attached to it as I tested it without stuff on another craft and no bug happened.
  11. Aye, I do. Here: Loving the OM's IVA, finally an extra viewport to look out of. First ship in a long while that has three different capsules all with IVA (Hamal's Dawn capsule is clipped inside those new tanks).
  12. Loving the latest Tantares version so far! Built a new omni-ship (only lacking harpoons this time around, I been using explosives instead, would prefer a smaller Tantares' version of the grabber unit to be honest) same config as the last ship but different design. It's already out of the draftboard and only needs to pass a few more tests and then I'll take some screenshots of it. Anyways, while I was building my ship and testing it constantly I used TK-QS01A Separator in the middle as a structural part to attach engines and that's when while in flight some warped stuff happened, I don't know what was going on but everytime I went up to about 6000-6500 meters the game just went bonkers with my ship, it's external camera focused quite a few meters below from the craft and not only that, the whole ship's center of mass was in that invisible area too as I saw my ship's RCS firing like it was on top of some tower. After much frustration later I just decided to off TK-QS01A ability to separate all-together and removed any trace of separation, then ingame I removed the old part from my ship and re-added it to my ship as a regular structural part (I never separate/decouple my stuff anyway, waste of resources and my nerves should I accidentally press space). Well, it seemed to have fixed that particular bug but it shouldn't do that in the first place. Maybe because I'm still using 1.0.2 but, meh. The config files I edited didn't really seem to differ so I'm not exactly sure. Something to do with having KJR installed?
  13. Oh, nice! Awesome thing is, just right now before pressing the refresh page button I had a really good intuitive feeling that Beale had released a new version. It's not the first time I've done such a thing, sometimes it just happens out of blue. Anyway, Thanks once again Beale! Will look forward to TKS IVA and Vostok's IVA.
  14. *appears out of thin air in a flash of white light* Did somebody say Q? Anyway, joking aside. I too be looking forward where this goes.
  15. *an unknown hatch opens and T'Flok floats out of it* Oh, wow. I like all the new upcoming stuff, Beale! Big G will give me enough reason to build something new with Gemini but I've been mainly waiting for the Vostok revamp and the atomic engine.
  16. Hilarious, another discussion about which came first, oh my sides! So, was it the chicken or the egg? *starts taking a step backwards* In all seriousness, I don't really care what came first. It's enough for me to have all these awesome unique parts in KSP.
  17. Woah! Just woke up and two pages of loafsome (aka awesome)! Loving the look of the new pod! I like that blue variant myself since blue is my favorite color but green in the case of KSP feels more natural and blends in better.
  18. Speaking of KIS. Not sure which mod to blame for this particular bug but here goes it's description: Entering Kvant module either removes or forces items into my kerbal's inventory that are there or not there thus effectivly destroying whatever my kerbal was carrying. That bug does not occur if I use crew transfer, only when I enter from the hatch. Update: Argh, that bug occurs with anyhting that does not have an IVA. I guess it's KIS then.
  19. It's an all-purpose spaceship (take-off, landing, mining, scanning, science gathering, exploration, orbital wrestling. etc).
  20. Personally I don't mind having that sort of niche part, IMO it makes having that pod on my latest design that much sweeter (i.e ejecting the pod with the pilot in case of dire emergency from the main craft!) Currently my ship looks like this: I built that ship with new Almach capsule in mind. Now you can see why I'm itching for the new vostok and it having RPM screens too (my ship has RPM cameras pointed at all sides).
  21. I'm liking the new vostok already, that decoupler part will be useful thing to attach the main pod to something bigger!
  22. Hehe, Is ok. I was talking about a tropical pear/fruit you can buy over here from a few shops in a can where the nut part has been already removed and the sweeter part of the pear is floating in a liquid in the can, there are several pears in that can. Quite yummy! Anyway. Interesting part! Would rep but can't.
  23. Does it contain really large anchovy pears? In that case (heh, 'case'), yum! Can into space indeed! Joking aside, if this is a crewed thing. I want it. Edit: Even if it's not I still want it. Looks like a useful bulky sci-fi thing I could go crazy with creatively and build something unique again.
