  1. If I saw the head crushing accident, I would be traumatized of bikes and never go near on again. Seriously, you saw a guy GET HIS HEAD CRUSHED ON A BIKE. One of those things you can never forget.
  2. Most successful mission was a return from Tylo. I had like 3/4ths of my fuel left when I got there, lander had the PERFECT amount of fuel, and it only took 3 years. My least successful mission was Operation Mun. Never again. So many slaughtered...
  3. My dad is sorta famous with my friends and family. He served in Afghanistan for a year (Dec 2012-Sep 2013). My mom is known in her workplace by saving families from eviction and repossession, and the fact that she could get a job in Florida. I love them both. I want to be famous too. I want to make a breakthrough in science (on my bucket list).
  4. Ever wanted to fly something like a Saturn IB? Wanted to make a Skylab, but couldn't make a good Saturn IB? Well I'm here to save the day! This clone of mine can fly by the Mun, and return! It uses fuel cells for power, includes monoprop to dock, has an abort system, and includes it's own launch tower (100% Stock). It's 114 parts (Launch Tower). Picture http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=442734841 You fly this like any other rocket, however, it has a 2.3 TWR on the launch pad, so throttle down a little. Stage 2 comes in at around 20-30km, and that will push you most of the way. Stage 3 is the service module, the thing that flies you around in LKO, and brings you home. Tested 3 times, fuel levels adjusted, kerbals barely making it out alive (you should've seen flight 2), and ready to fly! https://www.dropbox.com/s/jhqwewjbxszg6kv/Saturn%20IB.craft?dl=0 And here's the download for the Saturn IB Happy flying! Go make your darn Skylab now XD
  5. So, I was launching an Apollo clone for testing, and I heard a scream. I saw a car flying away, and a guy on the sidewalk. The guy had been hit. His 2 girl friends screamed, and looked out my window. 3 people called an ambulance, and they got there in 5 minutes. Unfortunately, even with the help of my neighbor, Bill, he died. They're all still out there, I think they're trying to save his life. He is dead though. Very terrifying. I'm observing from my window. Whoever you were, rest in peace bro. I'm not joking either.....
  6. LOL It happens. I might do a Apollo 11 or 13. Whatever I decide on.- - - Updated - - - I likey...
  7. 3 saves. Not one goddamn Dresteriod. Everyone else seems to have em. Where's mine? Are they rare? Am I unlucky (wouldn't be surprised, my luck sucks big time)? Please help me.
  8. MOAR PLANETS! And I just don't want more, I want variety. Like a comet there, a moon for Eeloo etc.
  9. The memories... My first landing was March of last year (still a veteran, 700 hours played). My lander was a pod, parachute, 2 small fuel tanks, and two small tanks with engines to give more fuel to the main engine. I knew everything about the Kerbin system up to Mun orbit. My lander had extensive testing, ten flights to make sure it decoupled properly, 5 for the launcher, and 2 for the ladder (back then I thought you needed ladders for everything). This was my 5th attempt of a landing. Attempt 1 and 2 ran out of fuel, and 3 and 4 crashed into the Mun. The launch was perfect. I had tight margins in orbit, but the transfer stage got me into orbit around the Mun. I decoupled it, and went for the landing. I killed most of my velocity, and was really close to the surface. I forgot to kill my horizontal velocity, and I was moving around 30 m/s. I hit the Mun hard. Left fuel tank gone, righty survived though. I survived with about 60% of the ship alive. I got out, extremely excited, and planted my flag. I took a picture of it on my phone (it's still on there). I terminated the mission afterwards, but not after 3 rescue attempts. One of the best things I've ever done (after a Tylo landing and return, and my first visit to Duna, which failed to return home but still landed).
  10. I got like 3 theories floating around the discussion right now.
  11. I was above it, as I landed for a mission. I'll check out the underside, as I didn't crash a craft with lights there.
  12. So I read an amazing thread about someone rendezvousing with the Magic Boulder, and I thought, could Squad return the Magic Boulder? Now, if they did return the Magic Boulder, they should put it in harder to reach, harder to ascend from places then Ike. For example, Eeloo. Eeloo takes a lot of fuel to get to, and you'll need to push a heavier lander out there to land and ascend from there to get to the Magic Boulder. They could also put it around Moho, Pol (believe me or not, Pol is very hard to land on), Tylo, Vall, and Dres. What do you think? Should the Magic Boulder be forgotten, or resurrected?
  13. Really? I still got my theory, so we'll never know.
  14. There was a 9.5 Kerbquake there, and...nobody died, there's only like 100 kerbals and they all live at the space center.
  15. It probably means we got fuel lines for SRBs now.
  16. Coming straight from the wiki page, "It will overheat when run at full throttle, but it will usually stabilize before completely filling the overheat bar. " You don't need to worry about it exploding, it stabilizes.
