  1. Realism is still more important than gameplay. Ion engines belong, but with lower(on rails) thrust
  2. As I said earlier, 9x the weight, 9x the Electric charge, 3x the thrust. A prebuilt cluster (1.25m) Would be only 3x the weight and have 3x the power consumption while still having three times the thrust
  3. Then it's an ion cluster rather than a larger Ion. If it is a cluster I am okay with it.
  4. If power usage scales correctly it would use an enormous amount of electricity. So no. Vasmir is better.
  5. A three kerbal 1.875 m capsule modeled after the ISRO orbital vehicle would be so cool.
  6. Exactly, as you said, it's the practicality that matters, and having a 1.25 m two kerbal command pod is practical.
  7. Yeah they are 50% scale of humans while capsules are between 55 and 60%. They actually have more space than real capsules.
  8. Just for a sense of scale 1.25 m mercury equivalent (Mk-1) 1.25-1.875m SM Gemini Equivalent ( I guess Mk2) 2.5 m Apollo equivalent (Mk 1-2)
  9. Real spacecraft are. Just because they are little green men doesn't mean they get an apartment in space.
  10. Here is the ATV and CMTFF Now I just need Hermes
  11. This is a Duna Aerospace replica of the first American satellite to successfully reach orbit. It comes with a Juno I launch vehicle with clustered upper stages. This uses Tweakscale and (probably) KJR. Download=http://kerbalx.com/clivman/Explorer-1
  12. Then we should just try and put 10m giants on kerbal rockets. Kerbal rockets are to scale, so should their capsules. If anything shrink the Kerbals.
  13. Because there is no equivalent in RL. Gemini has a close diameter to mercury and fit two people. Mercury is 1.25m. - - - Updated - - - Why not? As long as its stockalike
  14. Titan is 3.05 m in RL, which is 1.875 m in ksp, so gemini should be 1.25 m.
  15. Tantares is 1.5 m Gemini with 1.875 m adapter, point proven. And you were the first one playing the real card by saying their helmets have to fit
  16. You think real astronauts wear helmets larger than themselves? So who cares if their helmets fit?
  17. By logic we should add an American craft since all the other ones are American? By logic they shouldn't have large helmets? Tantares Gemini is perfect as is.
  18. Maybe we shouldn't care about how many Kerbals can fit and do it from a history/gameplay perspective. Besides, those are EVA helmets they wouldn't wear in flight.
  19. 2.5 Dragon V2 for 7(CST-100 would be awesome too), 1.5 m with 1.875 m adapter Gemini. 12 Crew 3.75 m crew capsule
  20. Tantares Gemini (1.5m) with a 1.875 m titan-alike should be made stock. And to everyone referencing how two Kerbals can't fit in a 1.25/1.5 m pod, I have made a thread on the broken scale of the IVA's, but it was closed. Two Kerbals can fit in a 1.25 m pod, and 7 can actually fit in a 2.5 m pod. Just look at real life capsules for example. Kerbal capsules are 5/8 the size, and Kerbals are just over half the size. The IVA scale just makes it look like Kerbals grow 50% inside a capsule.
