With me, it's a cubic strut clipped into the fairing body of Orion. There's no doubt that the landers will have the same problem, though. You can see what part it is, if you turn on ignore max temp.

It is possible to destroy it with extra hardware, but for a real challenge, try to destroy it (one or two explosions DO NOT count, it must be completely un-driveable) without any extra hardware. TIPS: Use broken KSC buildings.
