  1. 7/10 Useful stuff, but I don't use that mod.
  2. Who says jeeps can't win against tanks... You would not believe how hard it was to get those unguided missiles to hit that tank...
  3. I understand what you mean, replicas always require some clipping and weirdness with parts, which makes them look not as good, but I feel there's room for a IRL-alike custom craft, like this: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/113356-It-s-here!-The-Omega-good-looking-heavy-lift-vehicle?p=1791423#post1791423 Anyway, I digress. Replicas are fun to build for me, and I feel that's the point of KSP.
  4. I build both, and like building both, they each offer different challenges. Replicas require research, and fiddling to get it to not look like a clipped mess. However, custom craft can use stock part profiles, heights, and wing shapes, which makes it quite a bit easier than replicas, after all, custom crafts don't need to work one specific way. As to creativity, I feel like there's just as much creativity in trying to get stock parts to look like a IRL craft, as in building something from scratch.
  5. Banned for always having one more pip of rep than me.
  6. True, I try to right click every part after an update: For example, the parachutes now have a little thing telling you whether it's safe to deploy them.
  7. Very interesting! Well, I didn't pay enough attention to the air, really. I have trouble comparing, since I had FAR almost all the way into 1.0, so stock air just seemed a bit different, unlike when I installed FAR, which, from pre-1.0 air, had a steep learning curve. That is extremely interesting! Thank you for the info!
  8. The mk3 cockpit has 45m/s impact resistance, and their landing gear isn't retracted, so I think they will need a rescue mission, not a hearse mission.
  9. Online? I believe that qualifies you as a cheater.
  10. I feel like the peak of KSP's aero was at 1.0, except for drag, that was way to high. I love lots of realism in my air, so I have to put as much work into designing airplanes as designing rockets.
  11. Well, this guy made this post: And everyone's joking about it. Don't you feel the pain of the forum, in it's last spasm?
  12. Quote in sig? I believe that qualifies you as a cheater.
  13. Every story I create, creates me. I write to create myself. Every story I created, I created. I am writing to establish itself. - - - Updated - - - Expect problems and eat them for breakfast. Expect problems, eating their breakfast.
  14. "XD?" I believe that qualifies you as a cheater.
  15. I believe my company counts, under the epic engineer rule: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/113309-AMRSD-Applied-mad-rocket-science-division-TAKING-REQUESTS-NOW-HIRING
  16. It was updated in 1.0.3, along with the shock intake. The new MK1 inline cockpit lights up now.
  17. Most times I launch my Ares I, a cubic strut inside Orion overheats.
  18. Thanks, testing is going... slowly. Orion is fine, Altair is good, and the landers are mostly tested, but the DTV, Ares V & I are untested.
