  1. Okay, how many parts would it be without working turrets? Would most of the additional parts come from the turrets, or the rebuild of the bow and stern? Would said rebuild make it look worse?
  2. "We can learn more, we can come back stronger." YES!
  3. No info right now, just a "everything is under control, procedures were followed, and spaceflight is hard." statement. I'm glad that they did give that, though, we understand that it isn't a life-threatening problem, but some people may see this as a complete disaster, which it isn't, really, although it is very sad.
  4. Try replacing the four outer "Reliant" engines with "Swivel" engines, those have gimbals, so it should be easier to maintain stability.
  5. Cute! It has a sunshade! Can I get the sunroof package? Another amazing replica! It looks EXACTLY like a tank! I don't know how you do it!
  6. Nice! Does your tug have enough delta-v for either lander, and the DTV?
  7. Sad I hope they're going to launch again soon.
  8. Nice! I still can't make a cargo SSTO to save my life... Don't worry, this is the correct forum, the [MOD CRAFT] thing is only for craft which use mods which make them unloadable in a stock install, for example almost everyone uses Kerbal Engineer Redux, and as long as the mod parts it comes with aren't on the vessel, it counts as stock.
  9. I just discovered I am the 52nd most repped on the forum! Thanks guys/gals!
  10. Personally, I would happily build a craft which requires cheats as a requirement from the get-go, but I think my "Craft doesn't work? F12 it, then see what it says!" Attitude isn't shared by everyone, so I would prefer to release a craft which works without cheats.
  11. I like your idea of releasing Altair and Orion first, but I still don't know how big Ares V will have to be, because I don't know how heavy my NTRPS will be. - - - Updated - - - Oh, and my Orion is completely broken, because whenever I launch, the cubic strut which holds the RSC blocks explodes, because it's clipped through the fairings! It's the same problem as with the Cargo bay/Reaction wheel heat bomb bug.
  12. Actually, would only need to have one mesh, which only appears when a craft gets within 1 or 2 meters of it.
  13. GAH! About halfway through my burn, a remote guidance system, and 2 cubics exploded due to overheating on the Orion! How on kerbin did that happen! No warning, I must have missed the temp gauge, seems far to easy to miss. Ah well, maybe if I add some radiators to Orion? - - - Updated - - - Ah, I figured it out! The gauges only show up when I change the mode with F10.
  14. This picture (From your article^) is just great:
