  1. Kerbalston we have had a problem
  2. seriously? the rocket with curiosity was launched in 2011, it landed half a year later in 2012. But the design is good enough
  3. I had the same problem. the point is that when you attach a vessel to a asteroid, it still can wobble a bit. When you timewarp, the vessel 'collides' with the asteroid causing a explosion. Always be carful timewarping, especially physical, when you're attached to an asteroid.
  4. That is because you are possibly thrusting aside from the centre of mass wich causes a spin. To resolve that problem 1) Right click on the asteroid 2) click on 'target centre of mass' (now you sea a purple marker on the navball) 3) right click on the Grabbing Unit 4) Click on free pivot ( you can now change your direction of your vessel without turning the asteriod) 5) move the marker on the navball exactly on the purple prograde target marker 6) when you are exactly on it, right click on your Grabbing Unit 7) Click on lock pivot 8) THRUST! Prograde target marker:
  5. First of all, welcome to the forum! On the delta V: I honestly can't say because there have been a lot of changes in 1.0, the only way to find out is to rebuild the craft and then check the delta V with MechJeb. Can you post the images? Than we could say something more about your design
  6. Seriously... you made me stare at your creation for a whole 8,41 seconds...
  7. Good thought! And what do you consider the max part count of your space station?
  8. You also can use the app called Delta-V on Playstore. It helps me a lot with delta V calculations.
  9. Hello fellow Kerbals! I've seen this term several times and I tried to look it up but I didn't find anything. I'm very curious at this point and I have to ask it:what is circumnavigation??? cheers, Ferdoni
  10. You like clipping don't you?
  11. Well, I didn't mean the real scale size but the relative one. the scale rate of the upper part relative to the lower part. This big is not neccesary, I suggest one booster and then the fairing. Everything could easily be in size 'small' and build your fairing around the upper part of the rocket and close it under the escape tower.
  12. Granted, but no one knows what it is so you will never actually get it.. I wish for a new version of KSP
  13. Nope, it's broken for 4 years now and never bothered buying a new one The user below me never played 0,90 or previous versions of KSP
  14. Yes, now the upper part looks a bit oversized for the lower part of the rocket. With the real one, the upper part is 1,48 times wider than the lower part. While as in KSP large parts are 2 times wider than smaller parts (2,5 relative to 1,25). 35% wider seems to me like quite a difference
  15. I think this thread belongs in 'gameplay questions and tutorials'... And to answer your question.. many ones and multiple times, that's why i use quick reload
  16. Seriously, how long does it take to drive like 100 km? I tried roving a bit and i just gave up after an evening full of moving jsut 30 m/s and crashing every 10m. In the end I didn't even rove at all...
