  1. My quest to create a real Santa... I mean Eve probe out of an ICBM fairing have failed. Mostly because re-entry velocity is the death of me, stock fairings don't really protect the contents inside from heat, the slowing thrusters are considered "stowed" and this is my first real attempt at a lander.
  2. I think Cobalt is doing mostly US based probes, because there is already a stock alike Russian mod, Tantares, but no other stock alike US mod.
  3. Makes me kind of want to... EXTERMINATE! I'm not really a whovian, but I just thought it resembled it, so I couldn't resist the chance.
  4. No, like there is a whole site that you use, it has like every aspect of missions. Like all of the documents, etc. Edit: Check out the dev release for the first time... A few things, I thought Daminant was SRB based...Agena is now atleast ~67.49872% weirder... Agena control unit, should it be longer? Since it would impact the length of the agena... You didn't break too much, other than Sandstone, which I don't know why it broke. Other than fairing bases... otherwise good job. Double Edit: I'm an idiot, you changed the tank or whatever... P.S. Still think it should be called Sandstone P.P.S. Keep up the good work. P.P.P.S Any openings for streams? They give me inspiration to create craft files... P.P.P.P.S. Double thanks for the work you are doing.
  5. What database do you use for looking at spacecraft? I need the link, because school and research projects and Mars.
  6. Would you be adding the 4 procedural textures Cobalt had before? I really liked the black strip, white top and having the BDB logo.
  7. When I launch Atlas, I tend to start the turn right off the pad, which is what real rockets do I believe. That way you are only 5-10 degrees off of 45 when you hit 10km. Continue to go horizontal until you are 10-15 degrees above 0. When you burn down to the tank butt (around 34 km), drop the boosters. If you are just an old railroader, but from your current perspective, you need more altitude, then pitch up to 45 degrees. If you are struggling to pitch up, you can reduce the thrust on a vernier to help even more.
  8. I'd prefer to name it Sandstone, if it is all the same to you. Hermes-Etoh doesn't roll off the tongue.
  9. 10/10, would Ross Bob again. As for revamps, all I need is that sweet looking Atlas ICBM, from that art you posted a while back, as an alternate texture.
  10. You need to revisit the color on the A****o pimp-module. I feel like your texturing has advanced enough that it could get a color change, maybe a bold red.
  11. This is the link to it, its pretty cool. I'm trying to make some small and some larger stuff at the moment. I recommend using card stock, xacto knifes (multiple blades) and a quick setting glue.
  12. I'm if you'd like to do this, but would you consider making papercraft files for this? I think it would be cool to have desktop models of the rockets at 1/40086th the cost of regular models. Of you search around I think you'll find the original post about ksp papercraft, with directions on how to make it.
  13. @davidy12 We seem to like the same things, don't we... I love the look of the MMU, I'll have to try it out. Also, @davidy12 what mods are you using for the reflections on the helmets?
  14. From now on, Apollo is a curse word and shouldn't be said, for there are younger viewers for sure. No more use of the word A****o.
