  2. If you have upgraded KSP to 1.0.4 this mod IS outdated and shouldn't be allowed to be installed on CKAN. When the author fixes the heat issues and releases an update for 1.0.4 compatibility, then it should be updated in CKAN automatically.
  3. What config does this go in and where is it placed? Hotrockets configs are pretty confusing.
  4. That is what I am referring to. To be honest, it might be more like 8GB -> 12GB then CTD. Either way I am always getting the "Attempting ... 16GB". I don't have any data to verify that freeing the memory makes KSP more stable. It could very well be my imagination. However, once KSP starts to CTD it keeps doing it more and more frequently until I free the memory. That usually gives me a longer time between CTDs. As for that time period it is variable, anywhere from a few minutes to an hour.
  5. It seems to create more stability. When the game starts out using 8gb and crashes at 16gb, then leaves 7gb in the cache it seems that crashes happen much faster without clearing the cache.

  7. http://ryohpops.github.io/kspRemoteTechPlanner/ That website will help you a ton. It will do the math for you as far as seeing what will actually be covered by your antennas. I suggest not pushing your satellites apart to the antenna's max range. You'll need a little wiggle room. Also, check out resonant orbit calculations and Scott Manley's orbital math.
  8. The best thing I can say to do is use RCS to fine tune orbits. Watch YouTube and build a four satellite deploying ship. Then, use Mechjeb to maneuver plan resonant orbits each time you need to drop another satellite off. Again, use Mechjeb to match velocities with the last satellite you dropped off. After you have dropped off all four satelites use RCS to match their orbital periods down to the seconds (This is much easier if you have used RCSBuildAid to balance you satellites . It is possible without hyperedit, plus it's more fun. 100%? No. Very close? Yes.
  9. CKAN and NETKAN are very straightforward as far as maintenance goes. I am hardly a coder and I have written configs to get things onto CKAN. It's very easy.
  10. Just got started using FASA and I am having huge trouble with the AGENA Atlas combo. As soon as I start getting close to the sound barrier it becomes uncontrollable. Any advice? I am using FAR btw.

  18. Even when I do the symmetry properly AutoAsparagus doesn't work. In fact, using stock tanks and clicking asparagus connected fuel lines in the onion style and SmartStage did't work either.
