  1. I think it's perfectly fine the way it is. It fits well with the overall grey style of the fuel tanks.
  2. I like how everyone is saying the same thing for 5 pages. But I have to disagree with OP, the game will never be truly done, as there will always be things to add, change, or take away. Therefore, I suggest we give releases names, such as release Larry, and release Sarah. I can't wait for release Humphrey.
  3. One could argue that a submarine is a boat, designed to go under water. Besides, I also use rover parts to create regular cars, and use space-plane parts to create regular airplanes. I'm sure I could use the submarine parts you propose to create a boat.
  4. After going trough the interface a bit, I came up with two ideas: Move the training button to the first menu, and rename it to tutorials. Some first-timers might not notice it that well, and go straight to starting a new game. Add a before-flight checklist. Just have it pop up with the option to not show it again, and show again in settings. It should contain some basic tips, and some basic controls. Might come in handy even if you already did the tutorials, if you forgot some keys.
  5. That would probably be opening this thread
  6. Just because some (at this point in time) unspecified amount of people can cope with it, doesn't mean everyone should. Besides, you agree there is an issue, if you use the word "cope", and issues should be resolved, minor or otherwise. I agree, as the backpack has quite a limited amount of RCS fuel, you should get the option of spending it wisely, so have more control over it. It's wasted fuel if you have to spend to correct for previously spent fuel, and it could be limited with this, and safe quite a lot green guys.
  7. I think, rather than just plainly requesting a warp, you should request a warp-to-point. This way, you can always maximum-warp, and you don't have overshootings, and long transfers only take a bit longer. And just add an ETA, and notification for when a craft is about to reach it destination. This way, you can control multiple missions a bit more, without too much drama.
  8. Cool ideas, but wouldn't some more eccentric designs be nice? I was thinking of something among the line of a planet with gas oceans, instead of liquid. Or peaks sticking out of the atmosphere, which would lead to some interesting gameplay.
  9. When using steam, just right-click the game, properties > general > Set launch options..., and then add "-popupwindow", no quotes.
  10. The main problem I think is, that people forget trouble shooting 101: Get a clean installation. After skimming trough some threads on issues, I've noticed that most cases it was an old safe file that was incompatible. Or even worse, report bugs caused by mods. It's a shame Squad gets flak for mistakes made by the tester.
  11. 12. Horses Was the thread on off-topic lost in the dark days?
  12. An Kerbalnaut as mayor? Maybe when they're retired. For now, my vote goes to Micheal Bloomkerb.
  13. Glad to have you back capt'n, it honestly was a bit different without you.

    and I didn't like it.

  14. Granted, but it's the last version of the game. EVER. I wish every pigeon in the world was a penguin.
  15. I sometimes use them as decouplers in atmospheric stages. The awesome factor will rise significantly.
  16. Defragging your hdd will only speed your notebook up bit, and might actually overheat it more, as your processors have to do more calculations in a smaller time. Try running the game on a lower resolution, about half the resolution of your monitor. Also forget about fancy settings, as it seems quite an old machine.
  17. You know, if you type necro like that, you actually pronounce it like nee-cro, which you can both mispronounce as knee-crow, and negro, fyi. Also, people should read the rules, and look at the date of the last post. If it doesn't bring life to the discussion, you shouldn't post. Also, you shouldn't read past page 3 if you're planning on posting, stuff's getting old there.
  18. I made a rather large gunboat some time ago, for the good ol' RP. It doesn't go very far, though.
  19. I think of <s>your mother</s> France.
  20. Kerbin is a lot denser than Jool, so even if you divided the volume of Kerbin by the volume of Jool, it still wouldn't give a conclusive answer. Just look it up on the wiki pages of Jool and Kerbin, and do the math.
  21. Welp, in theory you can fit an infinite amount of Kerbins into Jool, as long as you crash enough into them ^^
