  1. Please update to 1.3. Surely you would have made the switch by now! Yes, this version is only for 1.3, but it also has Mac support.
  2. Please reinstall the mod using the correct version. You require version 2.2 of the mod to run it on a Mac. To do this, do the following: Remove the 10 folders that come with the mod Drag and drop the folders from the new mod file to GameData. https://spacedock.info/mod/1247/Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul (Stockalike Planet Pack)/download/2.2a
  3. Which version of the mod are you running? (Look in GameData > Olei. Tell me if the folder is named Textures or PluginData)
  4. "new planets"? When updating the mod, remove all of its components before installing the new one. In your case, remove every folder but for 'squad' and install the new update. Are you on Windows, Mac or Linux?
  5. Awesome. I might disable them by default in the next build because sometimes there's a black line over Gaia's equator because of the shaders. And I doesn't look good either. What I'd like is for scatterer to have individual configs on the planet list: "useKopernicusShader = True/False" for each planet. Side note: I really wish the orientation of the rings in Kopernicus stay the same. Niebos has its rings on an inclination and its moon is supposed to orbit within them, but they move each time the game is restarted which is annoying! Also @Chase842 in the space centre view, is there a piece of terrain overlapping part of KSC? I haven't got this but someone just reported it with a screenshot.
  6. Those are the shadows from the rings. If you don't like the effect, turn off 'Use Kopernicus Ring Shaders' in the main menu (when the scatterer menu pops up)
  7. Noooo If you really want to, go to Olei-Gaia > configs and delete Gaia.cfg Then find the config (called GPO) in the Olei-Gaia folder which removes kerbin, Mun and Minmus. Remove the "!Body [kerbin] {}" entry.
  8. @TheWanderer05 Comnet and scanning equipment work fine. You sure you're within the active range?
  9. ... The end of the world... (NOT GPO RELATED) However I may work on a side project planet pack which involves this... (inb4 everyone else also doing this)
  10. Welcome to version 2.2 for KSP 1.3! Changelog: "'IMPORTANT: Recover vessels landed on Gaia and Niebos. Niebos slight heightmap improvements, adding more detail Added more biomes to Niebos Gaia complete terrain rework, removing some large mountains and making it look a lot nicer overall KSC Relocated to Latitude 0, longitude -73. The old KSC was on Latitude 1. Cloud detail texture updated to savour performance Graphical improvements to Gaia's atmosphere Removed two minor cloud layers from Gaia which cause unnecessary lag More terrain variation and detail added to Gaia using the ridged altitude curve Gaia now has 20 biomes, each large island, continent, pole, major mountain and major terrain feature has a biome! Updated biome names for Gaia QOL improvements Gaia appears flatter from the map view Updated Gaia's map view mesh Niebos atmosphere tweaks Other stuff I can't remember. Enjoy the update. "Removed the Kraken"' https://www.dropbox.com/s/9ph2kzp8feuyc0i/GPO DISTANT OBJECT CONFIGURATION.zip?dl=0
  11. Some screenshots of the new and improved Gaia! Gaia from orbit. It now appears more detailed and it's a lot more flat overall. The new Space Centre location. Still in the mountains, but overlooking a large dip into the blue ocean. And it isn't a space centre without Gaia's iconic mountains not too far behind!
  12. @Mrcarroth mobile. Please ignore. I messed up writing this and now I can't remove the tag or quote.
  13. And it's about to get a whole lot better in the next update (hopefully tomorrow)! Gaia should look a bit like this. It's not finished yet, so it won't be exact (for example, this uses Kerbin's terrain map at the moment)
  14. Yes, the rings visible over the planet. Either i'm not looking hard enough or i'm looking in the wrong place (i'm looking at Known issues of newest version and I don't see it). If it's known, nevermind, all is well.
  15. Just checked the known issues, and I did see this: Scatterer atmosphere does not draw over Kopernicus rings in map view. This is an observation, and if you need the config, i'll provide them (I'm on the phone whilst writing this). Here's a picture I took earlier highlighting the issue:
  16. If you say so. Go to Olei > Configs. Deleting the config will cause the planet to not load. Careful - if you delete a planet you MUST delete its moon as well. Deleting an atmospheric PLANET will cause EVE and Scatterer to throw errors, so make sure you remove the config node for them in Olei > EVE > Atmosphere > Clouds.cfg AND Scatterer > configs > PlanetsList.cfg
  17. No, no no no no You're overlaying cloud layers (from mine and Galileo's textures) as well as overlaying Scatterer configs. It's either my configs or his (one or the other). If you use his, all of my planets will not have their visuals. Sorry!
  18. First screenshot is because of Hyper Edit. There's a bug with Hyper Edit which causes the PQS system on planets to load incorrectly. Just do a quicksave and a quickload to fix that every time you hyper edit! Second screenshot: uh... just reinstall I guess!
  19. No worries. If anything else happens, remove all other mods (I know it takes time, but it helps!) or provide some screenshots for me to go off Cheers.
  20. Keep scatterer, please add the scatterer I provide back into your GameData. Stock Visual Enhancements may be causing this, as you are overlaying different EVE clouds. Usually, this will not go well. You don't need SVE as I provide my own configs and clouds for the stock planets (plus mine). SVE and this mod are not compatible, but I think SVT is... @Galileo is the developer and might be able to do some clarification. I'm not getting flickering around Vulcan, but a screenshot of Nightmare may help because it doesn't seem related to a mod.
  21. Hey all! @Tutur has been busy last night and wrote some Distant Object Enhancements configs. I'll be releasing these in the next update, but here's a small teaser:
  22. Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul has just reached 5000 downloads!

    5 months, 5000.

    Thank you.
