  1. A short update The mod's alive, just a little slower. At the moment many old coponents are being revised and prepared for the KSP 1.8.x update. The update will be done as soon as all supported mods are shipped and running stable. An example are the old 22,5° RCS components (right) which will be replaced by the new ones (left).

After a longer break here a special and controversial project of the short space history: RORSAT US-A A nuclear-electrically powered maritime surveillance satellite that has been launched 36 times in the real world and successfully deployed 33 times. The sub Mod CSA Contares RUS comes with the suitable launch vehicle, Tsiklon 2M. Components for US-P, the solar generator powered passive satellites are in progress. The presented components will be delivered with the next update. This will be done as soon as all important compatibility mods are available and running stable. Some components are already available via GitHub for KSP 1.7.3.
  3. After an artistic break, some news. For professional and health reasons the work will be slower. Finally the workshop had time to finish a useful landing leg for the KL1875 Lander. Chelomeis blueprint project for a usable Lunar Lander was implemented for KSP.

The update of all CSA Contares Mods for KSP 1.8.x will be done as soon as the most important compatibility mods are available and work reliably. To the news for CSA Contares RUS: - the launch vehicle Tsiklon 2M is available - the active maritime surveillance satellite RORSAT US-A was adapted for KSP (CSA Contares PROBES); the reactor was implemented using the USI tools. - the blueprints Lunar Lander of Chemlomei were adapted and implemented for KSP (CSA Contares LEM)
  5. Correctly recognized, it is an artifact of the HTV version 1 variant. Obviously I forgot to delete the config file.

  7. Hello @Trem Fantasma, thank you for reporting the issue that only affects the DT-001 Orbital Telescope. The issue will probably be solved within the next two weeks and delivered via GitHub.
  8. Hello @N3N, The USI tools are used exclusively in connection with the inflatable floats/airbags. The USI-LS is not supported yet (Maybe you can find someone who writes a MM-Script based on the TAC-LS settings?). TAC-LS is supported extensively, but is to be considered as an option (One or the other error message in the log can be safely ignored and has no influence on the game).
  9. Hello @N3N, I suppose the question is justified. Unfortunately the Mod ShipManifest has not been updated yet although it worked until version 1.7.0. However, CSA EYE can also be used without this mod. Nevertheless I recommend a mod like "PartCommander" to get without problems to the contentmenue entries of hidden parts.
  10. @DMagic Yes, it's a sandbox mode Game. However, the error occurs in any constellation that allows access to the map selection.

  13. Hello @Cdodders, after checking all RCS components in all contares mods in KSP 1.7.3 it can be safely stated that the described error is caused either by a wrong installation, the wrong version of the contares mod(s) or by an third-party module management script with mod-spanning actions.

  16. The CSA CORE mod provides an AirBag/Floater module to prevent the sinking of various CSA return capsule systems. Install 3 of these modules at the bottom of the VA capsule and assign an action group before mounting the heat shield.
  17. New from CSA Contares workbench, a kerbalized (50% scale) version of the first 3 stages of Nositel N1. Picture from the non-textured basic model.
  18. So far I haven't found the time to update the craft files. Some of the engines used in the CAS-NAM craft files come from the CSA-MEU and CSA-NBS submods. Unfortunately I haven't created any NAM-engines yet, so you'll have to build the space shuttles / gliders and rocket planes yourself.

Update for KSP 1.7.2 on Github adds PRICHAL Node Module (Ø 1.875m) for 0.9375m Docking Ports adds alternate reality Moon Rocket named N2 (classic R7 design with 4 Boosters and 20 NK-33 rocket engines on fist stage, 4 on each booster and 4 on sustainer. 2 NK-43 on second stage. (alternate nuclear sustainer stage in progress) small adjustments for KSP 1.7.2 Update on SpaceDock comes this week, also new Craft-Files

  23. The HM-60 rocket engine, still planned for the LH2/LOX upper stage of the Ariane 4, was the blueprint predecessor of the VULCAIN. The original planning specifications spoke of a vacuum thrust of 600 to 680 kN. The beautiful shine was created by using the grinding paste of the type (KSP-Shader Specular mapped bumped).
