It's going nowhere . . .

Working on a new concept, ultra light buggy. Top speed 34 m/s It needs a fueltank and some solar panels, but I like where this is going.

I use that mod in my BDA KSP version, it sometimes blows up jets when I'm getting in range or something. It does let you switch vessel miles apart which is cool. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On with the adventure, Rolas made it back to the new base we discovered. She's almost out of fuel and we don't have any more pilots. Looks like we have to drive Val and Bill (who are still in the service truck) back to the KSC, set up a refueling plane for Rolas and send Val out to refuel the cargo plane. Since we get further and further away from KSC setting up tankers on our new found base seems like a good idea. TBC

Done, we have full tanks. It's not looking good for Rolas, she never has enough fuel to get home. She doesn't want to get stuck in the desert so she insist on taking off to the nearby base. TBC

Ok, Rolas just landed and the fueldrum is gone. Rolas is about to fly back to Jeb and land there to refuel the buggy. I was kinda prepared for this so the cargo plane does carry oxidizer. Yep, before it vanished it landed as "debries" then when I flew on it dissapeared. To bad...

I'm not happy. I made the drop perfectly but the fueldrum just dissapears into nowhere, didn't explode, just vanished . . . I decided to let Rolas fly on to check out the new base. TBC

I think I can take this risk... I see we are almost out of fuel, so I told Jeb to stop and wait for the fueldrop. It's time to send out Rolas . . . TBC

Cool, if it's stock I'd like to hire you to fly in supplies. Do you have pics ? I'd like to see it.

No, but there is a base I might visit. I made a small video just to give you an impression of what it's like to drive.

I expected this to be boring but going full throttle is big fun ! I almost flipped twice (and my heart stopped). My top speed so far: TBC

I can go flat out on this terrain, all I have to do is keep heading 225 degrees. There still are some bumps now and then, so it's not completely safe, but so far, so good. TBC

The plan is to send in a jet that will drop a fueldrum on a parachute. The shop would be nice, but I don't have the mods installed in this game (I'm running 7 versions of KSP). Besides, it would never fit in a plane, and I refuse to use vesselmover in this adventure. But the idea is cool, I might design a small "foodtruck" later that I can fly in with the cargo plane. Our upcoming route: It might look long, but in reality it's not much . . . I guess when we get to the end of route 6 it's time for refueling. TBC

Well, actually I was there not so long ago for testing the buggy. (*If you mean Mount Kraken, the highest point on Kerbin) Didn't came far then, but it's surely something I will do. But that was then, this is now: Our adventure continues ! TBC

I've loaded up my cargo jet and removed the canards. First test flight:
