Will you ever be able to add patches for popular planet packs like OPM, New Horizons, or MPE?

Version 1.1.2 is out, featuring"
- OnDemand textures,
- Smaller config size,
- Modified TimeWarpAltitudeLimits, and
- Minor description grammar fixes.

@Interplanet Janethello again, I just have a suggestion for the future versions of this magnificent mod.
1. Textures: hopefully some will be a bit more clearer (not like Parallax, that might just be impossible )
2. Interesting science definitions: I just see some mods with a plain message on the science transmission. I don't like that. I like to give myself some fun... with science! And support with other mods (I know that already since I read forums) is magnificent!
3. Moaaaaaar stuff: I mean, Havous is my favorite, Soden is already featured in my video (check it out on my channel), Ervo (is this w/ the atmosphere) is used and seen multiple times in my A Golden Decade video. Make stuff more interesting, if possible. And yes, I know you'll add some more, and I'm stoked. Hopefully I just might make a video with that soon
Ah, don't worry. I'm sure Exo might be developing a remake in the near future. I'm already working on DDS and OnDemand loading, so that should be cool.

@Interplanet Janethey! So, you have adopted MPE... It brings me back to the time I was going to make a movie out of it, but I didn't continue it.
Best of luck on the improvements of this mod! I might revive Beyond Eeloo's vibe by... a book... Soon. And make Havous great!
How can I make it greater? It's already great as it is!

A Golden Record item, for mid-game things once you first go interstellar. It wouldn't weigh much, but it could increase the possibility of contact by alien societies (if there are any). There could also be a later-game upgrade that would make it playable, with the ability to customize your soundtrack if you so wanted to do so. Maybe some off-brand versions of "Johnny B. Goode," Bach's Brandenburg Concerto, The Rite of Spring, Peruvian roncadoras, and other tracks found on the real-life Voyager record could be included as part of the stock set, though more could be added for customization.
It should cost 25,600 Kredits too, as a reference to the actual cost of the records themselves.
-
I don't have Github yet, but I should make one. Thanks.
EDIT: Added!

So I just checked really quickly. I am in low orbit around Ervo, and I can get low orbit science from DMagic's experiments, like the telescope, magnetometer, micro goo, radio and plasma wave, ...
Weird.
haven't really checked biomespecific science though...
Admittedly, yes, it does have science definitions, but most of the time it resorts to a couple of defaults. I think I will need to try to write some custom science definitions. Those will likely come in version 1.2, hopefully.

Ithink it kinda works with DMagic orbital science? I have -on Exo's version- a probe around Ervo loaded with al kinds experiments, stock and DM, and I think they all work. Will have to doublecheck that.
AFAIK, she never actually wrote any patches for DMagic Orbital Science. I will try to make sure all the science experiments are taken care of with DMagic, although there are a ton of them.

Here was the new thread.

This mod is no longer under active development. Do not download this mod.
If you wish to download the component bodies, visit the original mod:
The new bodies previously part of this mod (Doppler, Palloocus, etc.) are now part of their own planet pack.

@Interplanet Janet will you be making a new thread?
I will sometime, but for now I just want to announce that the updated mod exists.

Amazing. That is all I can say.
PS. Think the mod files are missing their folder inside the "gamedata" folder.
Ah, thanks! My bad, I'll just get that changed out really, really quickly.
Edit: PATCHED. Thanks for alerting me!

Nice!
Do you have a pic of Quazen?
Thx for adopting this!
As a matter of fact, I do.
Spoiler -
Congratulations, MPE 1.1.0 is officially released! Here's the changelog:
- NEW BODY: Quazen, Pallas analog.
- Fixed disappearing bodies glitches
- Smoothed out Scaled/PQS transitions
- Modified TimeWarp Altitudes
- Edited descriptions for grammar
Here is the official SpaceDock download page for this mod: SpaceDock. I will be making sure this is actively developed and making sure to fix bugs as they come. I hope to ensure that memory usage is as low as possible in case of any bugs.
-
When using the RemoteTech Antennas as a standalone mod, I notice that the Reflectron GX-128 starts extended, which makes fairing construction somewhat hard to handle for large interplanetary probes. Here's an example:
NOTE: The GX-128 is marked as the "Tigger" because I have CommNet Extension installed.
Spoiler
Stowed away...
In fairing...
And it's clipped. -
I will try to work on these planets more, but right now I'm more fixated on a different asteroid. I guess I could try working on those real quick sometime; I have them backed up and all.
-
We seriously need a way to fix the Inverse Rotation bug. I'm trying to make Urlum tilted similarly to Uranus, but when I try to land on Wal or Tal it starts spinning on its own accord.
-
It's pretty dead, yes. I'm working on some new bodies for Minor Planets Expansion which, when Exo revives the project, will become parts of this sort of pack.
-
Why has this mod not been updated since 2018?
-
Just a quick question...
How do you make it so that Richell doesn't appear on the start screen? I need to know because every time I try to move it out it ends up making the game never start.
-
If you ever wanted to make an interstellar probe a la Voyager, Pioneer 1x, or New Horizons, then there could be some options included as messages for the stars. I know there was an old sketch of a Kerboneer Plaque made back in 2014 which is yet to be made into an add-on, though it could be added as a flag.
The same could be done for a potential Golden Record mod, having it be just a flag to add to your mission. However, I think it would be even better if it were playable on the mission. Basically, if you played the item, then you could have a custom soundtrack for your game. If you want to listen to Dark Side of the Moon, you can do it. If you like to listen to Vocaloid, you can do it. If you want to listen to the actual contents of the real-life Golden Record, you can do it!
-
I think I might want to take up development of this mod. My Janet's Planets pack actually might be a bit better if it's a part of this, just to add a little extra interest.

Exo may be working on her own outer planet mod, so I'll be making sure to make patches for when that comes out.
