  1. Looking forward to it. (I'm out of likes, but your craft are pretty darn cool)
  2. It's positively adorable! Another Cupcake masterpiece.
  3. I hate to add to the ever-expanding wait list, but could my screenshot be Pine-ified? Thanks!
  4. Sweet builds! Great combination of form and function!
  5. And another voice joins the chorus of literally thousands.......
  6. I agree that the idea sounds cool, but I don't know that people will enjoy poking the goo for the thousandth time. My point being, it's fun until you do it a lot, and with the science-grind that is Career Mode, you WILL do it a lot.
  7. Being prolific is a problem I'd love to have. Keep up the great work!
  8. To start the unrelated tangent of my username (on this forum, for the first time), 'Otto the Silent' was the nickname of the German submarine commander Otto Kretschmer, who sank 350,000 tons of Allied shipping before becoming a POW in late 1942.
  9. My god, man, have you no respect for the sanctity of the Iron Giant? THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE
  10. I just don't have any particular affection for Minmus. I like the Mun's looks, terrain, and gravity. Minmus may take less DV to land and return, but I absolutely hate the terrain. Just my opinion, of course, and you're certainly entitled to your own.
  11. I happen to prefer the Mun, but for pure practicality, Minmus has the advantage of lower gravity and orbital velocity, meaning that you can lift more ore with less fuel. So, consider Minmus.
  12. F-22A I know it's been done to death, but I'd be interested in seeing a low part-count one.
  13. I had heard that Minmus was easier to get to, but I never had any interest in it. To date, I've got several hundred Munar landings under my belt, and probably under a dozen Minmus landings.
  14. I do it sometimes, just to do it. But the hassle of resupply means that I only ever use single-launch stations, and the Kerbals are, unfortunately, usually doomed to eternity away from home.
  15. I have NEVER used the big fuel cell array. I know that they're useful for missions past Jool and all, but I don't do those all that often, and the times I have, I used RTGs, since I was in sandbox.
  16. I'm sure I played something before, but the first game I remember playing is Star Wars Battlefront II. Yeah, I'm not very old.
  17. Really nice build, and happy holidays to you, sir!
  18. Age 16 I build mostly Von Braun-alike craft, just because I've put a few hundred hours into flying single-stack, multistage boosters. As a result, they already look pretty nice and non-cluttered, and I try to integrate redundancy, especially with regard to electrics, since it's pretty easy to pair solar cells with a fuel cell somewhere, or a single RTG if I'm playing sandbox. As a result of using the Saturn family, I've got versatility, relatively high payload, and simplicity, which I fold into the functionality category. So, the short list is: 1) Simplicity 2) Ease of use 3) Aesthetics 4) Versatility 5) Redundancy
  19. Super cool, all of it. I think this thread is highly unappreciated!
