I preordered NMS and got it on release day, and for the two days I've had it it's been an absolute blast. If you do get it, two words: Expect pirates. About every third or fourth launch to another planet/Atlas interface/station I get killed by pirates for carrying one too many Heridium.

Well, with the Olympics happening right now, I decided to host my own little Kerbolympics! The first event? Rocket jumping! http://imgur.com/a/cN6LA I can't figure out how to embed albums now... (Yes, I actually did hit 360 meters. And yes, Bobak Kerman is real.)

Gilly Lite: Gilly using only .625 m parts
Crocket replied to IncongruousGoat's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Awesome! I wish more people would use only 0.625m parts to do things. -
*pop* Noice.

I had an awesome idea for a prison a while back: The Block. The Block would be a Mk3 Crew Cabin with all windows and ports shut positioned as low as possible in the Joolian atmosphere (this was or used to be possible, there's a video somewhere of someone landing about 400 meters below "sea level" on Jool). The only docking port would be for The Shuttle, a 1-occupant robotic rocket to transfer one prisoner at a time in and out.

For Science! (You've forgotten this existed, haven't you?)
Crocket replied to RocketSquid's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
I love this a lot! Quite honestly, I'd like to hear those infoludes narrated by David Attenborough. -
[Eaten by the Kraken] Effusus - Chapter Five "Mutationem"
Crocket replied to Andem's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Awesome! Love the quotes! -
Your Kerbal murder fantasies are quite unsettling, for lack of better words...

You... you MONSTER!

I'll be attempting a Medium Mode soon! For a novice like me, Medium would be a (potentially) fun challenge, with Easy being too easy and any higher difficulty being nigh impossible.

Bump. Probs not gonna do it, but I wanna keep this alive.

A bunch of part suggestions/questions

Skis would be great for anything Kerbal-related. You're underestimating their power. -
Will do! Working on it right now!

A Thread for Writers to talk about Writing
Crocket replied to Mister Dilsby's topic in KSP Fan Works
I was thinking a mama kraken and its kraklets, but ghosts might be fun to write. -

I'm toying with the idea of writing a story about an abandoned(?) mining base on the Mun. Thoughts? -
A bunch of part suggestions/questions
Crocket replied to b0ss's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
ey b0ss Nice ideas! I'd like to see them in the game! -
I would kind of like a Base-in-a-Package: a deployable base that emerges from a 3.75m box and can fold back up into said box.

0.625m cockpit (I want to keep my install completely stock and the process of EVAing a kerbal from a pod, putting them in a command seat then jettisoning a pod gets fairly tedious.) More variety in 0.625m parts (More engines, fuel tanks, etc.) 2.5m to 3.75m adapter containing fuel An engine with intakes built in (It doesn't have to be a jet engine, I would prefer it to be a rocket engine that is more efficient the more atmo there is.) More LF-only engines (Nervs are quite boring.)
