  1. 0.1 of 1.0 is 10%. 9 rams = 10 shocks. That was my conclusion as well...
  2. I created a supply ship - with large tanks, ISRU unit. It was VTOL spaceplane, capable of landing and launching from any planet/moon without atmosphere in kerbol system (and some smaller ones with atmosphere). I made a test landing on Minmus, only to discover that ISRU won't work without ore tanks...
  3. Rotating your orbit to different inclination is most efficient at apoapsis, if your orbit is highly elliptic. Your speed at AP is probably just 50 m/s or something like that, so you can even stop your craft and start moving in the same orbit in opposite direction
  4. Some games do. Crusader Kings 2 for example - the game should be long dead, but as project leader said - as long as people keep buying expansions for it, they will keep making them. Even if people don't buy them, they still get bugfixes and some new features in free patches that are realeased along those expansions. This way game that is 3 years old (counting since 1.0 release) still has very active development. I suspect the same will happen to KSP - as long as people are buying the game, we will get new versions. This is also why PS4 release is a good thing - more money = more development.

    Hello

    I bought KSP a long time ago, back in 2013 I think - but when I tried to play it, everything was hard and unintuitive, so I decided I'll wait until the game is finished. I got back to it in March 2015 after watching some youtube videos and began playing 0.90. I spent hours trying to get things into orbit, then to the Mun, then to dock two things together... Now I have more than 400 hours played, at least according to Steam I was reading those forums for a long time, now I finally decided to register. Some of my constructions: Elephant Base with 4 rovers (0.90): Medium Supply Ship "Buran" (1.04):
  7. Hello, this is my first post here My question is - which one is better - shock cone or ram intake? I see people are saying that shock is better, but in the game it has lower values - 0.009 intake area vs 0.01 for ram and 0.9 air amount vs 1.0 for ram. So, if Shock is better, could anyone explain to me, why is that?
