    Normal, tiled ring kopernicus bug. No idea, 8 GB is just the min to work with GU_Core and 1 system. PC specs vary, KSP is heavy on RAM in general ...

    That looks perfectly normal tbh. You can clearly see the spirals. From your screens. This is what GU looks like without the Galaxy mode. Add this mod to your modlist. To dim the background.

    I really need evidence or proof of the issues. Picasso/Cubism KSC deformation and frustum error logspam is caused by the fact Kerbin is no longer orbiting the body that represents Sun. Which in galaxy mode is the black hole. This is just KSP acting up and cannot be fixed. KSP was never intented for interstellar stuff. However the buttons on the left in the KSC menu will always work. Scene switches work as well.

    You need stellar adventures and all systems enabled to get the spiral galaxy like shape from the poster. Instantiator and singularity are required for visual support as mentioned in the installationguide. can you show screens or link logs?

    @JadeOfMaar Going to use your explanation here. KSS was heavily lore-focused and had a lot more to do with an alien race on the same level as the Forerunners who built the HALO rings. GU leaves "any potential lore" up to the player to decide and derives itself mainly from IRL systems. Modularity is also a difference. But size? Not really. KSS and GU are incarnations of the same fundamental mod idea (a whole galaxy in your game). GU being the 2nd is superior (by quality) and inherits from StarCrusher's experience building KSS. You can have both NK KSS is positioned a lot closer than NK GU. Tho you'll have 2 Blalo's etc ...
