  1. Have you thought about using the new debug tool for putting thing in orbit? Love your mods.
  2. But it is listed on the Main page https://kerbalspaceprogram.com
  3. There is no link to the Reddit site in the KSP on Social media at the top of the forum. Intentional or not?
  4. I have notice over the past week or so that images on the forum are being cut off at the bottom. Example page For me the small index images are fine but the full sized images seem to be cut off on the bottom. I am use Firefox browser 47.0.1 also tried with edge browser. The question is, is this normal? is anyone else experiencing this?
  5. I would agree with you, except for the fact that it is easier to edit a file and change a number than to write a script. Obviously the fact that the script worked and the edit didn't is a deciding factor in which to use. Thanks for the the comment.
  6. Here is the solution I got to work. https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/2z5azg/is_there_any_mod_that_increases_the_number_of/ Here is a copy of the relevant info from the link from mwerle on reddit. The only thing I don't understand is why this worked and just editing the origin contracts.cfg did not work. I just traced into this because I've been meaning to do this myself, and it's pretty easy: You can increase the number of contracts by increasing the AverageAvailableContracts parameter in Contracts.cfg in GameData/Squad/Contracts. I haven't looked to see if it's possible to do it at runtime yet. Here's a Module Manager patch (you must have Module Manager installed; save these lines in a file ending with .cfg and place it anywhere in your GameData): # Copyright 2015 Michael "Micha" WERLE <micha@*obfuscated*.com> # # This Module Manager config file modifies the number of contracts # offered by Mission Control. # # LICENSE # Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) # http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ # # This patch increases the number of contracts @Contracts:Final { # Default: 10 @AverageAvailableContracts = 20 }
  7. Bewing could be right about it not being implemented. I could not find any slider concerning contracts(other that penalty), so if you could be more specific I would appreciate it. Fancy mouse I did restart the game. Mission Control is fully upgraded. FullMetalMachinist I check it is still the the same file name exactly. I simply selected the file when I saved it so it would have the same name. Thank you all for your suggestions. Hopeful there will be more suggestion or at least someone to confirm that it works or doesn't.
  8. I changed the AverageAvailableContracts in the contract.cfg file from 10 to 30, nothing seems to change in the game. the file edited was in gamedata\squad. Did I do something wrong? My objective is to increase the number of available contracts. I used wordpad to edit and saved as a text only file. Thanks
  9. My opinion on Squad. This is there first Game. The didn't have much of an idea what they where getting into. They created a great game. They get more organized and experienced as they progress in development. Just look at the inprovements in Dev notes over the past year. Look at how they are starting to plan their updates better. The make mistakes(from some peoples perspective) some times. They keep getting better at it every time. Keep up the good work Squad!
  10. Those rockets still function in the game(mostly). therefore the complex parts of the calculations are already being done in the game at the point of burn? What I saying is all the elements are in the game already. From there it shouldn't be an enoumous leap to conbined them in a form to calculate Dv and TWR. They don't have to reinvent the wheel just assemble it.
  11. Here my question. They already calculate thrust vectors and the like, when you preform a burn. Couldn't they just use the available fuel to extropolate the dv and TWR? It seem to me you just use the same code you have elsewhere. Thanks Squad great game.
  12. I would find this useful, to see where my kerbal is on my station. That way I don't have to guess where they are.
  13. look at you getting all fancy with two colors. Nice. Thanks for the report.
  14. I look at your craft file. It has strange fuel lines( 4 to the center tank). The staging ejects the tanks that are full first. Only two rcs thrusters? The flipping (I am assuming you are talk about in atmo) is Center of mass issue usually. Swivel engine for the central stack to add control and fins or other control surface. Should fix some of the problem. The ship is really overpowered. Meaning that drag will affect you ship more (ie flipping). Keep speed below 300m/s below 10,000 meters will make it more controllable. Trying not to steal to much of you fun. I hope this guides you in the right direction.
  15. Congratulations on sticking with you rule. It's hard but rewarding.
  16. When you try to synchronize all you clocks to Kerbin time and can't figure out why there's more than six hours in a day!
  17. I'm saying 20%. I know there is so much more they can do with the game. That leave 80% more stuff for them to add and fix. Right now it is a more complete, functional, and with a better replayability than any game I've played except for the original Neverwinter Nights. To me it's like getting a new game every 3-6 months. Live long and develop more.
  18. nano engineered fully functional models. this is the future we are talking about. or COMING TO A THEATER NEAR YOU!! Ethan Hawke as Jebidiah Kerman scarlett johansson as Valentine Kerman Liam Neeson as Bob kerman Harrison Ford as Wernher von Kerman Dolph Lundgren as Bill Keramn
  19. Good suggestion. While many of us are tech people, some may not. It is always good to suggest thing that may help. TSR can still be used by old people like me to refer to thing that load on startup. This is mostly a very friendly forum and can stay that way if everyone just remember that where all here for the love of the game!! Also read post for there intent and not there wording. Sometimes we come off in the wrong way without intending to.
