It could also be referencing Leia - who should already have "risen" to become a Jedi a long time ago.

A fascinating counter-argument to the ever-popular "Darth Jar Jar" theories.

Nah, they'll just have Rey go back to the now significantly less forested Endor and discover a clue leading them back to Sheev's secret lab on Jakku where he did all his super secret cloning. We'll learn about how he created Anakin either through a recording, or at most through a clone of his who has been orchestrating all this and likely puppeteering Snoke. Maybe they'll run into a Zillo beast just for kicks, who knows. Then she'll probably tell Kylo about it later, and he'll...be Kylo about it. also Rey is a clone, that's my bet.

The titles often can be interpreted as references to Anakin's story - "Return of the Jedi", "Revenge of the Sith". So I think "The Rise of Skywalker" may be partly about how Anakin came to exist in the first place.

Objects to include in a comprehensive Solar System Suite?
cubinator replied to cubinator's topic in The Lounge
Yes, but in terms of what it's like to be there, you'd probably see rocks and the ejecta and the sun on either one, and I cover being far from the sun later. Maybe I should do Halley, then, but using what we've learned from 67P. @RealKerbal3x I think adding the Oort cloud is a good idea too. -
Objects to include in a comprehensive Solar System Suite?

Placed my comments in bold. -
I want to out-planet the Planet Suite. Holst's suite is great music, but focuses on the mythology for which the planets were named. Now that we know so much about the planets as actual worlds, I think we're in need of a true Solar System Suite. I have a list of celestial bodies I want to include which offer a diverse perspective on the solar system as it truly is. Do you think I'm missing any particularly unique objects within our solar system which deserve a spot? Here is my list: A note- this won't be finished for some time.

There's going to be a plastic flamingo sometime soon.

Yeah, some parts of it were cool. The interaction between Rey and Kylo was interesting. The Snoke fight scene looked cool. The lightspeed ram looked cool. I just don't know how well all this ties into the story that's already been established, and it just seemed very random plot-wise.

The prequels simply don't feel interesting to me until about the second half of II. Also, looking back I feel the CGI wasn't quite there until III, where it looked good. I really like III, especially in the context of the Clone Wars series (which is fantastic, and does a good job showing the war slowly chipping away at the Republic and the Jedi Order). That said, IV has the perfect opening sequence for being the first Star Wars that anyone saw, and does an excellent job showing what the whole Star Wars universe is about. V is great at showing the Empire, and the tyranny of Vader. I like how VI shows how much Luke has matured, and we begin to see Vader as an actual person, even before his heroics at the end. There is just a little bit of remorse when he says "It is...too late for me, my son." ... Ask me about the sequels after I've seen IX... Still too early to be sure.

She is the adoptive daughter of a former senator and strong opponent of the Empire.

Maybe if it's actually coherent and makes sense, unlike the last two which are fun to watch but story-wise seem to crumble under even moderate scrutiny. Why is the resistance in exactly the same situation as before Endor? Why does this nobody Snoke exist? Why isn't Leia a Jedi, or at least use her powers at all? IX could answer these questions, and if it does the trilogy might be redeemed from these issues.

Hello, this post is on topic.

Modern equivalent? The OT still fits the bill for me.

Maybe it was a training exercise? Otherwise, she'd have been blasted from afar and above.

I hear Palpy might have had a big cloning lab on Jakku long ago. I think we'll hear about how he created Anakin.

Laser pointers are expensive. Laser diodes are cheap as dirt. I have $25 to blow on Amazon. =================== Time to get literally a hundred lasers!

Wernher von Who?

Some of me was once near black holes.

Remember that time he was 'just thinking' about tunnels... No, I think a lot would get in the way of this actually happening for quite some time.

The difference is that the one in the movie is seen almost edge on, while the picture we see in reality is almost face on - we already know as much from observing the huge jets emitted from there. If you were to travel there to it's side, you would see something more similar to the movie. Your eyes are no different.

Those seem pretty similar to topics I learned around that age in the USA. It could be the method of teaching that is harder - here I've learned a lot of conceptual stuff like processes and the teachers don't usually bother to make you do very complex operations or memorize everything unless it's really useful, like the unit circle. Do you need to memorize a lot, or do very tricky and complicated problems?

In my opinion, it's quite alright to bring back an old forum game, and it actually kind of annoys me when someone makes a new, identical forum game just because the original hadn't been posted in in a long time.

Insprucker clearly said "norminal" at the end to please the crowd.
