  1. Well i mean 1.1 is going to be released relatively soontm so I don't expect a long life on 1.0.5. I wouldn't switch back to 1.0.5 if you paid me. I'd consider it, and depending on my circumstances, I might, but I'm definitely not gonna switch back unless you paid me.....maybe... but probably not
  2. yeah that's what I figured I disables city lights for now until I can find out what is causing it. any who.... thanks again!
  3. Got super excited then realized its for 1.0.5... well ill just have to wait I guess! hype!
  4. If you were on a Mac or on Linux they run KSP on x64 and can handle a lot of mods. windows can only handle 3.6 GB of ram usage if you are running on 1.0.5 so you are running out of memory.
  5. ok are you running ksp 1.0.5 or 1.1 prerelease? Also are you tying to run mods? AND how much ram are you working with? sorry for the flurry of questions but its important stuff
  6. Dumb question but are you trying to run ksp.Exe or ksp_x64.Exe?
  7. @Nhawks17 hey so I looked at Endraxial's planet textures again and man do they look nice with your mod. BUT I cannot, for the life of me figure out why city lights turn up on literally every sing moon and planet. It's just textures so I can't see why it's a problem. I dunno. Again not a huge deal at all I'm just getting greedy now. Any suggestions?
  8. After tweaking my overclock I'm getting almost a constant 50+ fps with the lights on. Also, it might not be intended but landing in the terminator looks an awful like a storm is moving in. pretty awesome
  9. If it is from SVE I don't know why he worded it that way. I'll have to play later and see if I'm just losing my mind

  11. I don't care if you ever implement this but cloud reflection would be neat guess. Not necessary but neat. That's probably some next level stuff I can imagine. I went ahead and over clocked my GPU and CPU and I'm getting about 36 fps with the lights now which is pretty great
  12. Endraxial's planet textures are good you can find them in the texture replacer thread Other than that I don't know. And I'm not 100% sure it works but give it a go! On the subject of older mods, if the mod has not been updated to 1.1 then no, they won't work. There are however quite a few mods that have been updated to the 1.1 prerelease. Here's the thread for that.
  13. What @Nhawks17 @blackrack and @rbray89 have been able to accomplish is amazing. It's beginning to become difficult to tell ksp from reality. Great job guys.
  14. It would be great if the mods had some sort of time stamp indicating when they where put on ckan. There are so many mods it's hard to find the newest additions especially when it's only 2 or 3 at a time. Perhaps a row showing date added?
  15. oh you meant this... And here is a little something from Laythe @blackrack you were kidding about the performance drop with the lights. I went from 80fps to 22fps! Still, I love it though. So great
  16. I did realize that if I turn the gamma down on my monitor the edges went away but the game was a little too dark for me. this made it perfect! thanks a million

  19. Yes but he is more or less asking for permission to use people's screenshots not just stealing them from a different thread without consent. He is likely avoiding a headache later on. I thought the same thing at first
