  1. Which would be the point. Since companies only have civilian bases, they're going to deploy their own craft, or even prototypes to defend their seat against the attack.
  2. Just a quick idea I had; Why not have a future episode feature both sides trying to bomb out weapon companies' bases? It could give more lore about them, or just show a more strategic part of the war, while putting the two superbombers GMI and HKA have to use.
  3. My plane seems to be always veering off and letting the other continue shooting. Anybody ran into that?
  4. Personally, I think reaction wheels should be banned. This is WW1/2 aerial warfare, not 1970-80 with props. Putting reaction wheels will just give ridiculous stabilization to the guns, which were and will be more innacurate than an advanced FBW system we have access to in ASC-I and II. Perhaps a limit of 1 small reaction wheel for minimal gun stabilization?
  5. Since no 12.7mm weapon has been (as much as I know) used for fighters in WW1, I thought using the mod for 7.7mms would make sense. As for the qualification, I'd suggest making people find one document and preferably a picture for an aircraft of similar weight, power and a weapon of similar firing speed. Small weapons would be easy, with the Fokkers and Sopwiths armed with twin 7.7mms. Others, such as this, would be harder to find, but would give the players who know their stuff an edge. http://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp?aircraft_id=684 Also, if ASC-III is going to be WW1, could we have a future WW2 ASC? It would let us use AA at its full potential, and experiment with many piston combinations in addition with early jets
  6. Loadout can be of any type, as long as you can find an example of a plane fitting it in the 1903 (Kitty Hawk) to 1918 (German capitulation) period, having similar engine power and weight as yours.
  7. Quite funny. The F-2X has missing ailerons on one side due to me forgetting symmetry toggle, but still manages to kick ass.
  8. Not really. I've seen my earlier 200m/s planes not dodge missiles and some slower planes dodge some. If you're running away, high energy can be useful, but only if your plane can outrun the missile, like the MiG-25/31. Otherwise, low energy and high maneuverability works as well. I've got a simple carrier built, a bit small though, so I'm not sure it can handle all four planes.
  9. I was thinking about using Aviator Arsenal for weapons, as 2x12.7mm seems more like inter-war period/late WW1. Early WW2 fighters had twin 20 mils (Bf-110), eight .303 cals (Early Hurricanes and Spitfires) or 4x.50 cal (Some American aircraft, the P-40 even had 6). Those numbers went up to four 30mm cannons for the Me-262, six (still) .50 cals for the Mustang and 4 20 mils for the late Spitfires and Typhoons. Bad-T's systems looks fun. A max of points, weapons cost their caliber in mm and engines their thrust number. This way we could have both jets and props, each with their advantages and disadvantages. Edit: Never mind, my eyes derped and saw WW2 instead of WW1. We should mention those are fixed guns though, or can we use the turret?
  10. 20 BD parts maximum is a base rule. Also, not having a 3 rail 6 missile loadout wastes 3 BD parts. Those could be guns, ECM or chaff. Of course, that's the goal of the challenge!
  11. Toggle clearance checks in the options. Also, you should rethink the weapon mounting on the pylons.
  12. Don't you mean ECM? Also, his plane looks a bit like the original XF-4 with inverted intakes.
  13. Naval operations 350 parts down there, able to take a single F-2
  14. Personally, I've noticed no lag. Even the Top Gun AI tournament is set on the north pole of Kerbin.
  15. You need to also provide a background for your company. Please read the OP.
  16. Were previous ground battles fought from 2000-1000m distance or closer?
  17. 1) Upload photo on Imgur 2) Right click, choose copy image 3)Ctrl+V in reply 4) ??? (KSP forum magic) 5) Finished.
  18. Well, it is an SPAAG. The 1K11 is a Tunguska, and the 1K12 (wheeled version's name) is a Pantsir-S1.
