  2. Tweaked my F-2C as well, let's just say it's doing a predator's job on weasels. @inigma, if you could tweak the F-2's pilot at 17 steer factor, 52 take off speed and 7 dampening that would be nice.
  3. I'm grouping my planes there then, since most of my original designs have become very obsolete. Aimbot Labs is a design bureau focused on ground-based vehicles, mostly airplanes. Headquarters are located somewhere on the KSC continent's east coast, and so are production facilities. Aimbot Labs offers quality fighters, and projects are ongoing in cruise missile and ground vehicle designs. The company stands with GMI for the moment, but may change side, depending on which takes more casualties, all to maximize profit. Most new craft use this action group setting. The F-2 series before the F variant, the B-1 and the HVTOL don't. 1) Fire selected weapon 2) Next weapon 3) Toggle afterburners More binds are used for some craft.   6. Are SEAD and EW aircraft represented correctly in your series @HatBat? I'm currently wondering if or not I should build a special anti-radiation version of my plane. Another point, is the land battle going to be AI controlled? Just to know if I should update designs with new countermeasure placement, or if the battles are just staged without major countermeasure usage.
  7. I think the next fight will be very interesting, since we've got two completely opposite-built planes which are both pretty good. I'm looking forward to see the death star in action. Also, @inigma, here's some music that might suit the battle.

  9. This is what actual fighters do. Most of them only have enough fuel to fly 10-20km to the AO, do some fighting and fly back to the airport. For example, a CF-188 like those we have in Canada takes about 15 minutes to empty its fuel tanks at full throttle, and 2 hours at minimum throttle. EDIT: Wrong quote, meant to quote @Spearka

  11. All these suggestions are fine, but I think they will only make the challenge more complicated without bringing anything more to it. Plus, as an ex-FAR user, the ships will absolutely rip themselves apart if we use it without some reinforcement mod.
  12. Could anyone test the F-2C if they got time? It's working well on my PC, but I'm lagging a bit too much to test on some other aircraft.
  13. I'll add some SEAD then I guess. Countermeasure should also help against AA. It's an equivalent to heavy attack helicopters like the AH-64 and Ka-50s, so it should have about the same advantages and drawbacks.
  14. In all tests, BDA uses the turreted guns, even if they can't actually hit the intended target.
  15. No Orbital Strike Platforms? But yeah, spy satellites would add a nice depth to the game, especially for the incoming land battle.
  16. I'm for the idea, but sending cruise missiles on orbit course to a Kerbin target is pretty hard. You either have to burn retrograde and lose all your energy so the missile doesn't have to, or else your missile flies off. Have you found a better way?
  17. @JollyGreenGI, the Whishplash isn't worth using. Just use afterburning Panthers. The ramjets lose way too much energy when maneuvering, and can't use their full potential in evasive maneuvers those battles are based on.
  18. Do you have any experience for ground vehicles then? I'm trying to build up enough armor for my flying M1.
  19. @Spearka and @ScriptKitt3h, what armor thickness would you suggest then? And does my theory on radiators as armor work? BD seems to overheat parts to destroy them, so I thought radiators would keep them from heating and block projectiles.
  20. A nooby question, but how do you make armor? I've tried with normal plates and wings, but they get destroyed instantly. Radiators work well, but anything not covered is destroyed.
