  1. Was working on the Spitfire, entirely redesigned the tail There's one very serious issue, though. I can't get it to fly on the usual "Juno" engines hidden in the tail because the elevons overheated and exploded. Any ideas on what I should do?

(Put in "Mission Reports" because I consider it an ongoing 'mission' of sorts, not sure if this is where it quite belongs, mods move it if necessary, or delete this if deemed not appropriate) A bit of an ongoing 'distraction' of sorts from building WWII plane replicas and launching rockets of mine. This is kind of an interactive story of sorts, you guys decide what tactical decisions I should make. Background: Two "teams" fighting over the space center, one side has control of the space center. Kind of has a WWII vibe, but most tanks have an M1 Abrams turret because, well, there aren't any other options at the moment. Team A initially invaded Administration, but were forced to withdraw. Standard Team B tank:And Armored Kerbal Carrier Team A tank: and a little thing I called the "StuK" Current situation: Team B has formed a "bulge" of sorts. (some positions along the front outlined in red not directly involved are not shown just so I can actually play the game) Team A is somewhat short on tanks near the R&D center, but still has some at the front near the runway. From a Team A perspective, should Team A 1.Counterattack somewhere else 2.Attempt to repulse the attack directly 3. Attempt to encircle Team A, or 4.Retreat and stage a Dunkirk-style evacuation?
  3. Launch complete, delivered a lab module and a mini-DreamChaser thing to the end. The DreamChaser lifting body comes with a small OMS system/orbital tug that can be used on its own but that's not recommended...   4. First Kerbal Spaceport and now Kerbalstuff... We told ourselves it wouldn't happen again, but it did.

  6. I just tried the save, it claims that the part "Alnair.LK.Solar.A" is missing and the ship cannot be loaded. I have 1.05 and updated versions of both Tantares... I won't be able to launch until this can be resolved
  7. I probably should clip some tanks, it barely has any fuel... Haven't timed it yet, but it can climb to around 5k meters and have a tiny amount to return with
  8. A small, very quick build I made a while ago when bored. Also working on a Spitfire that is coming Soon(TM). The wings may be off and the I-beams sticking out of the fuselage are intended to be skids, couldn't really improve it aesthetically (same goes for the necessary extra rockets in the back).   9. This is an idea I've had for a while. For the War Thunder community, there is a site called War Thunder Live where users can share just general thoughts, opinions, skins, etc. ( live.warthunder.com , format is kind of like that of a social media site). I think that it would be interesting to have a similar site for War Thunder where users could share ships, KSP related images and memes, quotes, (maybe even ships and mods...) etc. It would probably be cool but unlikely...

  11. Amazing! Perhaps the saddest thing about this is that you could make these planes fly more historically (aka have a better flight model) than some planes in War Thunder

On WT Live I posted my "Derp" edition that has no less than 8 ShVAK cannons and unhistorical 'ramjets' (aka Junos, I couldn't find anything better) If I encounter these things in War Thunder, I just boom and zoom them to bits The cockpit is currently just an EVA seat, but @Matuchkin I actually might as well add some greebling for controls...
  13. My addition is a rather small (1.25m part not counting wings) DreamChaser style spaceplane, but it has a module attached to its end (consisting primarily of a 2.5m lab), is that allowed? I can substitute the module for a docking adapter/airlock (Like Pirs on the ISS) for the lifting body spaceplane if necessary, as long as nobody moves the spaceplane and sticks a module onto the docking adapter thing.

  15. A quick stock build of an I-153 "Chaika" (seagull?) biplane I made. Wing-tips are not the curved shape that they were IRL (same with horizontal and vertical stabilizers) And (like all other WWII prop aircraft builds that I plan on doing/have done), some engine detailing (very sparse though, and no way to see it unless crashed or in editor) There are still some issues with "shimmering" due to part clipping I've also been working on a Spitfire, Me 163, and a Fw 190 A, and am going to take a break from aircraft construction for awhile. Any plane requests for later?
  16. I feel rather confident that I worked most of the issues out, so here's the updated Dora (KerbalX download is still old, but I updated the OP). And some pictures of it flying It flys decently well. Probably not 100% as it performed IRL though.

  19. I need some help, I made a vehicle that has a Sidewinder-armed Jermas along with some additional AMRAAMS (not mounted on the Jermas) , but nothing fires when it's set to guard mode and I fly a Team B aircraft around it. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong or needs to be done here?

  21. Busy on a stock Spitfire model. Any suggestions to improve the model? (especially the cockpit area and the wings) Screw this model, I'm turning it into a He-112 and building a new Spit Update: It looks more like a He 112, redesigning the wings and tail now
