  1. Cool, are you going to be doing this every time something new pops up?
  2. I've never really agreed with this mission, I wish they just shot straight for Mars, but they've funded it, they have some hardware, just let them do the mission, and stop wasting money!
  3. Farewell HarvestR. Did he say whether or not he'd stay active in the forums?
  4. Don't you feel this is behind the times just a wee bit @Osel? We have a huge thread in Sci/Space for this.
  5. http://www.seeker.com/king-tuts-space-blade-identified-1831900657.html That's pretty cool.
  6. Congress needs to get a grip, space exploration isn't for changing stuff up every year, it's for long term missions, once you fund something, keep funding it! @Red Iron Crown That isn't too political, is it?
  7. I dunno what I'm going to do next, but it's probably going to be a space station, or Minmus base.
  8. Going to Laythe now! i.e. Going to open up KSP, and begin the construction of a rocket. EDIT: 1400 posts!
  9. Really? I didn't know Jupiter's SOI was that big. That's pretty cool.
  10. There's 4 planets, and 8 Moons in this system, the is a metal rich Sub-Earth that is also about 120C, next is the 8 Jupiter mass gas giant, with 4 Moons, 2 with life, one covered in ice with no atmosphere, another rich in metals (I had to alter the orbits of the habitable Moons, because since they were so close to the parent star, it sometimes pulled the Moons away, so the 4 Moons have orbits of 2.3, 6, 10, and 18 days roughly, with the 2 outermost Moons belonging to the medieval and space faring civilization respectively) and the outermost planet is a ringless Jupiter-like gas giant with 2 ice covered Moons, and a gas dwarf 'moon' with 2 moons, one mostly made of silicate, and little in precious metals, and one rock and ice, with a thick atmosphere, there's also a metal rich Mars sized body trailing the two with a very thick atmosphere, likely a ejected moon. The parent star is a K3 main sequence star. What do you guys think? EDITS ARE IN RED
  11. All points I was going to point out It does look like a very sturdy rocket however.
  12. The warp drive one on the OP is my favorite, and is now my desktop background, these are amazing!
  13. Hey, when I was looking at Kerbal space program images, I found my profile picture, and it linked to here!

  14. I think I'm going to put a lander on Laythe later, probably tomorrow. I might need to keep the Inflatable heatshield on in case I don't get to land.
  15. Oh, right, I didn't think. Unless, they weren't amphibious, and needed help. I dunno.
  16. Good thing we'll be playing KSP on these laptops on Mars in a decade Lets hope they don't find us...
  17. You mean something like this? But in a much smaller package?
