Thanks! :-). But seriously, I’m not antagonized, I just don’t want people to get confused. That hasn’t happened again, so you’re fine to talk about your suggestion! I like discussion and Like I said, I like discussion, I also don’t want people to get confused, hence why I created the Discord, with a separate area for challenge suggestion discussion, to avoid confusion. I wish the forum would support that.

Small Falcon 9 Challenge

Looks great, will try @Human Person! -
Oh right, I was going to say that Kerbals should be able to carry multiple flags, at the penalty of increasing their mass. During a flag planting ceremony for dead Kerbals (coming in Chapter 4 of my story) it doesn't feel particularly ceremonious to have another Kerbal have to run out there to plant the other flag. It would be cool if you could put them on your vehicle!

Thanks!

What chat? Seriously, in all my time here, I've never seen a chat. Where is it?

Okay, so a couple days ago, I wanted a screenshot of a flag I had planted on a mission at the landing site, for my fanfic. I had forgotten to take a picture of its plaque when I planted it, and I wanted to go back to get a picture of the plaque. No problem, right? I went to the Tracking Station, and "flew" the flag. I right clicked on it. There was only Focus and Reset camera (if I remember correctly), no Read plaque option! It turns out that to read the plaque, I would have to send a Kerbal halfway around the world! I think that @SQUAD should add command module functionality to flags so that we can read them without Kerbs around. Another suggestion: make flags editable. I made a few typos in my memorial flags, and now I can't fix them. Yes, yes, I should have looked it over, but my computer was running slow, and I'm impatient. Either way, making flags editable would be a good idea.

Really. Cool, thanks! Advent calandre sounds fun! I haven’t done long distance driving before, but after reading your Pole2Pole challenge, and the Elkano thread, I really want to!

Here's my entry: Thanks for the fun challenge, @Triop, and I look forward to the upcoming Pole2Pole challenge!

Okay, I've created a Discord for discussion: https://discord.gg/KNercYn Here we can also discuss suggestions like @AeroGav's. To be clear, it's not that I don't want discussion, it's just that people might get confused and think that it's a challenge. That has already happened, even with it clearly saying challenge suggestion. If people are posting what looks like entries, people might get confused. I do like and welcome discussion! On the Discord, we have a separate area so no one should get confused. Thank @Alpha 360 for the original idea of having a Discord! Looks great!

@AeroGav , @TheFlyingKerman, @sturmhauke, can we please keep the discussion on-topic? I don't mind some discussion of challenge suggestions, but this might distract people from the actual challenge. If you want to keep discussing it, please start your own thread or PM each other. I know that I would at least try to participate if this was a challenge! The operative word being try. I doubt that I would do that successfully. I'm on version 4 of an R.A.P.I.E.R SSTO, and it still hasn't reached orbit. Also, ask @Lucast0909, I build horrible planes! But now I'm getting off-topic. Sorry.

Are you saying that the tanks won't fully drain? If so, do you know how empty they will be? I assume that you don't. Then I have no idea. I hope someone will, though!

Question: Does a plane that stays on the ground until right before and than lands right after count?

The challenge is now closed! Thank you to everyone who participated! Here is your medal: Credit to the wonderful medal goes to @doggonemess! Minmus Base Challenge: The next challenge, requested so many times by @The Minmus Derp , is to construct a single or multiple launch Minmus base which must have: Ore drilling and storage, comms, room for 4 Kerbals, and some sort of entertainment(i.e., a fun craft like the one on my base above, on the right of the picture, or some sort of interesting terrain nearby)
